Another Antique Window…

About a year ago my sister in law got me this very cute tree decal for my house, & I am so happy to say that about a year later I finally used it!! As many of you know I have obsession with old windows & doors. I had found this old window at an antique store in Michigan & came up with this idea to use the decal & the antique window together for the corner of my living room…

Window Before…

Window ï»¿After…

What I used…
Like I said before, this wall decal was a gift, but you can find these wall decals nearly everywhere ( i.e. Target, TJ Maxx, exd…) I am not going to lie, the decal was very frustrating to work with, especially on a window, but I love the results!
The Window is very heavy & I was scared to hang it on our walls, so I came up with this idea…
I had this antique trunk in one of our spare bedrooms with blankets inside. Now it serves as an end table for the chair & a great place for my antique door to sit.
I love all the little details on this antique door. It already came with this pale yellow color that I fell in love with. Some more pictures of the new corner of the room…

Love that vinyl! Looks really good!

  21. Love the tree vinyl on the window. I wanted to leave a tip for you.

A little Joy detergent mixed with lots of water. I usually use about 10-12 drops per spray bottle and a squeegee go a long way.

Spray your substrate (this only works for hard substrates obviously) down with the solution. Place the vinly onto the surface and line it up. Once in place squeegee out the excess solution and bubbles.

  22. I love how you dressed up the corner with the window looks great

  28. Anthony Blommel says:

I actually thought that there was a plant behind the window. I asked myself, "How'd she do that?" When I scrolled down, I went, "OHHH!" Haha! Anyway, the earlier comments have said it all. It's really inspiring!
