Mason Jar Love…

One of my favorite elements for interior design costs less than two dollars at your local grocery store. That’s right, Mason Jars. Now, you can find some antique mason jars that cost more & some in different styles, but for this DIY project I used four simple wide mouth Mason Jars. I was inspired by a blog post by Lovely little Details Blog to make this Mason Jar organizer (ps. She loves mason jars as much as I do!). I decided to make my first one for my first time for our master bathroom because I hate the disorganization of bags of cotton balls and other odds and ends. I was so excited that I combined my love for mason jars & stylish practicality…

Mason Jar Storage for the baño…

Amazing storage, & it’s with my favorite thing ever, MASON JARS!
I filled my mason jars with Qtips, cotton balls, & cosmetic sponges, but you could fill yours with virtually anything that fits in a Mason Jar for any room.
What you will need to create your mason jar storage
I painted my board to match my bathroom with this lovely shade of purple.

Mason Jars, picture frame hangers, & some large pipe clamps
O, & you might need one of these.. a hubby! haha He was such a big help figuring out the placement of the jars for me.. Have I ever mentioned how amazing my husband is? Love him more than anything in the world..

Mason Jar love…

I hope you liked my Mason Jar storage as much as I do! Am I the only one who loves Mason Jars this much?! There has to be more people out there who love them as much as I do! Let me know if you love them as well & go to the Liz Marie Blog Facebook page & share pictures or comments of mason jar love. xx Liz Marie

  23. Never thought about using them outside of the kitchen for storage. Man am I in trouble now.

I already use them for tons of storage in my panty. All my baking stuff, (baking powder, soda, noodles, rice, beans, and etc) get put into mason jars for storage. I just love the way it looks all nice and pretty sitting in the pantry. So much better than boxes and cans.

  24. What a great idea! Creating something so lovely out of ordinary objects requires true talent. Thank you for the inspiration.

  25. This is awesome. When we move into our new place I will totally be doing this along with several of your other tutorials for makeup storage! They are all SO creative.

  26. What a great idea. I could so use something like this in my craft room. Hmmm…I can see a trip to Lowe's in my near future. Thanks for the inspiration.

  27. this may be a silly question but are you using the picture frame hangers exactly? are you using them to hang this piece on the wall or are you somehow using them to hang the mason jars so that they are detachable?

  28. I've been dying to recreate this! I'm just trying to get the hang of painting the mason jars first. Once it's done it will be perfect for decluttering my bathroom sink!

  29. I love these so much! I just bought some old mason jars at a flea market this weekend – I think I've found their purpose! :)

  30. I look this look and would like to made one myself. But I'm research the pipe clamps, and shat size number of clamp did you use?
    Thanks,
    Kimberly

  31. Sheer Genius!!!!! This will be the new storage for all the zippers, sewing tools, notions, etc. in my sewing studio!!!! Off the cutting table, sewing table, etc. and up on the wall they go, yay, some more elbow room where I never seem to have enough!!! Thank you….Also, going to be great for a couple of the granddaughters to store all their hair thingies…that in itself will also be a gift for their moms…some tidiness and a place they can find what they are looking for! Thanks so much. Love it!!!! and I love Mason Jars as well!!!! ♥

  32. For all of you that are curious. I believe that there was a missed step. You must screw the pipe clam into the board, if you have a pipe clam w/ smaller groves stretch one out but not too big. Then screw from the inside of the pipe clam to the board. I believe that the picture hangers are to hang actual board. After 2 hours with all the supplies that were stated that were needed there was no way the mason jars were secure or even staying on board with the picture hangers. Maybe others knew this, but I didn't.. Hope this helps anyone stuggling to finish this project. Does look neat though once done!

  33. I love this idea. I, too, love Mason jars. In fact, I love jars of all shapes and sizes, especially small ones. I sometimes buy a product just so I can use the jar when all the jelly or whatever is used up.

  34. You are responsible for this? This keeps recycling on my pinterest. I have never pinned it. But…it sits in the back of my head. I am so excited to have found your blog…swoon!

  35. I am going to do this. I have my q-tips, cotton balls and such in mason jars already just on a shelf but I love this idea!

  39. Love your idea! Fantastic. I am also a Mason Jar junkie! Love them for so many things…including food storage (dried beans, vanilla beans, pasta, etc) In fact I’ve been trying to get to the store to get some 1/2 gallon ones. They are super awesome! Thanks for sharing your great idea. I saw it on Pinterest!

Just screw or nail the lid to the bottom of a high shelf with
the open part of lid down and flat part flush with the shelf.
Next just twist the jar onto the lid lile u would the lid the jar.
    Great space saver and organizer
