It’s finally happening people! After making a pact last night with my husband that our master bedroom re-do would be done by the end of November, we made an epic trip to Target to purchase some things for the makeover. I wanted to start with the bed linens & go from there. Picture this, warm, cozy, & rustic. If you have been following me for a while, you know I usually stick to cool colors like grays & blues. Not here folks. We are going for warm & inviting. I am so thankful for my bestie, Rachael, who was there today to push me to make decisions because I am so indecisive, I would have walked out of there with one pillow & no progress would have been made… but she knows how I am, so she went all “Bedroom makeover drill instructor” on me & it worked because now I am motivated & anxious to get some paint on the walls next week! Also thankful for my husband who met us & hung out with Rachael’s little, Kirby Jane. You would be surprised at how long she was entertained by rolling plastic pumpkins down the aisle & chasing him for snacks.
I hope you are as excited as I am that this is finally happening. If you have been following me for a while you know that our master bedroom has been in limbo for like a year now. I will be taking you along with me through this makeover journey with me starting with this little shopping trip. I hope you all had a wonderful friday. We are going to see Paranormal Activity tonight with friends, & I’m already scared! haha Do you like scary movies?? What do you think of the linens for the master bedroom? Can’t wait to see what you do! Our master bedroom is in limbo too, but my hubby keeps telling me we’re going to move which makes it hard to go forward with decorating. But when I do, I think I’ll grab a bestie to help me too because I’m terribly indecisive a lot of the time too!!! Lol
