Design Trend: Ombre Home Decor

Top 12 Ombre Home Decor Projects -

Ombre has been a design trend for a long time now. Honestly, I have always admired it from afar, even though I did have ombre hair a few years ago & I loved it, but I have avoided the trend in our home until now. I often play it “safe” in my own home and have never added any ombre home decor. Recently I did add one Ombre pillow to my office a few weeks ago & I’m kind of , sort of, in love with it. I think ombre can be fun element, pop of color, and even add a great addition to any space from sophisticated to whimsical. Here is my new ombre pillow in my office….

This design style is fabulous on the furniture! I love the drawers, the more the better with a lot of shades! The turquois really caught my eye. I would put it in a little girls room using purple to lavendar! I may “steal” the idea for a piece of furniture I need for my dining area. I am using a dark gray blue on my bulk heads and a lighter gray with a bluish cast for the main walls. I need to find an old dresser or bakers rack. Then I would like to use the lightest wall color on the top, the bulk head color on the bottom, and all the blue shades in between. Should be great…but I really wish you were here to help me! (and I need to find the right piece of furniture) !

Gorgeous on all of it but especially love how the furniture looks with it. See what you’ve started now? Love all of it. I love color anyway so this would be great way to add some in a room. My favorite was the chevron ombre curtains very nicely done.
