GMC Hidden Treasure Adventure-Day 3

Wow!! Today was one crazy day. We drove from Kentucky to Tennessee on 127 the whole time & went from sale to sale finding treasures. The one crazy part I noticed today was that my riding budding, Courtney from French Country Cottage, & I are doing two completely different rooms {I have the boys room she has the dining room} So one sale would be amazing for her & bad for me, but the next one would be perfect for me & not so much for her. We found a lot of the things we had on our list today. I found some amazing letters for above the boys beds & their dresser.I got them an amazing dresser for $7.50 can you believe it? I was pretty pumped about that. All thanks to the other GMC bloggers because I was a little to timid to barter, but they have my back. Anyways it’s super late & I actually just came up to my room from painting in the light of a street lamp out in the parking lot with the other crazy DIY’ers. We were getting some pretty strange looks haha. Tomorrow it’s another early morning & then off to Atlanta!! We will be DIY’ing all of our things for the home tomorrow & it will be super busy so I’m not sure if I will have time to post, but When I get home from the trip that is when I will share all the amazing photos from my camera & of course the reveal of the house too. For now here are some lovely photos from today. Be sure to follow me on Instagram for the rest of the trip to see all of the updates, sneak peeks, & to catch all the crazyness along the way.

Sorry for the short post, but I promise  I will share more of the fun details later. This little lady needs some sleep! I hope you are all having a great weekend… xx

  1. What fun it was to meet your girls today! I am so glad you came my booth, even though I didn’t have anything for the little boys room. I wish you could have come earlier when I had more things I would have loved to have able to contribute to the Habitat House.. I can’t wait to see the reveal!

  2. Those letters are fantastic! I can’t wait to see the finished product of all your finds!

  3. Those letters are great, I can’t wait to see how you use them. The shot of the kudzu is crazy!

  4. I’m so jealous! My friend and I did this route, only beginning in TN. The best thing we came across was a discount fabric store in an old schoolhouse along our route. I guess that was worth it!! We didn’t see anything like what you found!

  5. I have had a wonderful day going from blog to blog , I have just ended up here and wow what a site.
    Will defy be following

  6. Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic however I’d figured I’d ask.
Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing
a blog article or vice-versa? My website goes over a lot of the same
subjects as yours and I think we could greatly benefit from each other.

If you happen to be interested feel free to shoot me an email.
I look forward to hearing from you! Terrific blog by the way!
