I am sure I am not the first to say this, but where did 2013 go?!? I am not complaining though. I am so ready for 2014!! 2013 was kind of crazy for Jose & I, I will be explaining more on that later, but I am so ready for a fresh start in 2014 that’s for sure! 2013 had so many amazing moments & few really hard ones. Do you want to know what was a major bright spot in 2013 for me? You guys, my blog, each and every comment, each and every facebook like, every follower on Instagram, every sweet comment, every pin on pinterest, suggestions, opinions, all your visits daily to my blog, it all means so much to me! I do not take any of it for granted & I’m thankful for it all. Blogging & sharing with you here on the blog is something I love so much & it’s all because of you.  I wanted you to know how thankful I am for you & making 2013 awesome here on the blog, & I promise that for 2014 it’s only going to be bigger & better. We will be completely renovating our Michigan home, getting our North Carolina home ready to sell, getting out of the marine corps, moving home to Michigan, & so much more!! I hope you are all ready for the wild ride of 2014 & I hope you stop by everyday to check in with us. Also, in the next week or so I will be sharing a big surprise with you that we are both excited about {no bun in the oven, sorry! ;) } Still very exciting though & I know you guys will LOVE it! Wow! Looking through these posts from 2013 really had me kind of emotional {especially that last one}. Of course I couldn’t include every post, & looking at some of them I can see how much I have improved over the year & that makes me happy too. This post has motivated me to be a better me in 2014 & a better blogger. Sharing more about me & my daily life, sharing more projects {so many of mine never make it to the blog!}, & sharing more of what you like.   2. I want to thank you too! If I hadn’t found the DIY Fabric Softener, I never would have got into doing it myself1 First the softener, then laundry soap, and so on! I am going green and cheap (well, reasonable) and gave baskets of DIY laundry stuff to my family in hopes they wouldn’t take offense. They didn’t, and in fact loved the idea of making there own. So now, you have 4 more fans! Yea! Lets hear it for all you Smart and Handy helpers! THANKS!

  10. I absolutely love all your projects. I love your coffee tray with your Keurig in it. I just got a new one and I think having some decorative items around it would make mine fit my kitchen better.
