I will do a post later on all the changes & fun new things about
Liz Marie Blog being on WordPress.
I wanted to share two tables I re-did for a client recently.
Remember the Dandy Lion tables I did a while back?
Click {here} to go see them.
Well the client wanted to use the same color on her tables,
& I was more then happy to do it.. I love Dandy-Lion from
the Martha Stewart collection at Walmart & was happy
to work with the lovely color again…
These tables were not always so lovely & sunny looking…
Although they were not terrible looking, the client was not to thrilled with
the solid bright blue finish these tables had.
I used the Dandy-Lion paint from the Martha Stewart collection
& antiqued with some stain to give it an extra touch of shabby chic
An extra lovely detail? The former blue popped out a little
during the distressing & added a little extra charm to these
two tables…
I love all of the awesome detail is on this table.
This is my favorite table of the two & the new hardware
gave the table a whole new look.
The second table looked so different & did not have the amazing
detail that the first table had, but the dandy-lion color brought
them together nicely…
Can you tell I am obsessed with the detail in this piece?
I wanted to keep this table for myself… but
I wouldn’t have a very happy customer then.. haha
The client was using these tables as nightstands in their
master bedroom. I love how the tables were very different,
it adds a fun & quirky touch.
Fun fact: that’s a fake drawer on the nightstand. purpose?
Love these tables! I hope you enjoyed seeing them.
What have you been up to this weekend?
Any fun projects? If so go share them on the Facebook
page {here} I would love to see them!
I hope you find the blog very user friendly now that it is on WordPress
& like I said the kinks will be worked out in the next few days…
I am still learning everything as well… It’s going to be a fun transition!
