I have this thing for stripes lately.
I love the crispness of the clean lines,
the added element of surprise,
the eclectic touch stripes add to everything,
& the versatility of stripes in different
styles of decor.
Stripes are starting to turn up in my decor &
my furniture design as well…
Before…
I got this paint color off of the clearance rack at Lowes…
& I love the softness of the green… It would be perfect in
a nursery. {No name on the can… sorry!}
I used my trusty Valspar Dove white for the white stripes.
To create the stripes on the top of the table & the doors
I simply used 1 1/2 inch tape  & measured 2 3/4
inches in between each piece.
I love how the stripes turned out. It adds such a unique
detail to the table, & makes it a one of a kind.
The new satin nickel hardware replaced
the old gross plastic hardware that was
on the piece before.
I decided to only stripe the doors of the cabinet & leave
the rest of the cabinet the pretty soft green.
I didn’t want to complicate the piece & make it too busy…
I do love simplicity.
This table would be a great nightstand or a
very useful & stylish end table.
I will say it again.. I can really picture this baby
in a nursery, it would be too perfect.
Are you a stripe lover yet?
It’s okay. You can admit it….
Another great thing about this end table
is all of the great storage.
The two doors open up in the front & inside there
is deep storage with a shelf.
Lovely & practical.
& I’m sure you are wondering about this lovely
white chair next to this lovely end table…
Well, that’s another blog post coming this week…
I can’t believe the weekend is over..
what an amazing Sunday it has been.
This week will be full of finishing projects
& lots of sewing, can’t wait to share!
I hope your weekend was fabulous…
What do you think of my cute striped end table?
