I am going to be revealing our laundry room makeover tomorrow
& this is the last DIY that I did for our laundry room.
I wanted some artwork for the small space that didn’t
make the room to cluttered.
While cleaning out my craft room this week, I found some
burlap sacks that I had got while in Michigan this summer &
I came up with the idea to frame the burlap to make it
into artwork for our laundry room…
This was very simple to make & makes a big impact on the
little laundry room. I didn’t want to show you too much
of the laundry room, so here it is in a different spot in our house.
This DIY project was very simple. I made the frame
out of baseboards I bought from Lowes. I attached them
together with “L” brackets, & painted the frame black.
I cut the burlap sack to fit in the frame & I attached the burlap
with a staple gun to a board that I cut to the size of the frame.
I then attached the frame to the board with the burlap on it
with staples as well to make it secure. I attached a picture
hanger on the back, & just like that I had simple & cheap
artwork for the laundry room!
I love how this piece is very unique & brings a nice vintage
touch to our laundry room.
Can’t wait to show you this little baby hanging in the laundry
room.. only one more day 🙂
Stay tuned for the laundry room reveal & you can check out the
other DIY projects for the laundry room while you wait..
