As I was digging through some dusty antiques this week at a local flea market, I found
this precious little slatted wooden box. & for a dollar I was sold! I knew it would
look so great with some greenery in our home {I’m so ready to bring spring into our house!}
Let me back track a little though, when I found this little box it wasn’t looking so cute…
{sorry about the cell phone quality before picture, but you get the point 😉 }
With some leftover paint from our bedroom makeover, fixing the broken slats,
& a little distressing with a sanding block I had a lovely little wooden basket.
Those boxwood clippings are from my front yard. I love that I can walk out
my front door and get some greenery to bring into our house. & you may have
already known that I am obsessed with boxwood, you can see my DIY boxwood
wreath {here}. Best party is they are free!
Currently this lovely wood box of boxwoods is on our dining room table, but
I’m sure it will be moving soon.
