I revealed our spring dining room a few weeks ago & I have had a few questions on how I made the moss terrariums on the buffet. I never blogged them because they are so simple to make, but I decided to share the DIY today in case you wanted to make some for yourself.
All you need is a glass cloche {I bought mine at TJ Maxx}, a plate {also a purchase from TJ Maxx at a different time}, moss {I purchased mine at Michaels & I bought three different types for a varied look}, & whatever other items you would like in your terrarium.
On the white plate I layer out the two green mosses at the bottom. The darker green on the bottom & the light green around the edges. In the center I used the brown “birds nest” moss in the middle. After that I just simply placed the glass cloche on top of the plate with the moss on it. & voila… a DIY glass cloche moss terrarium!
I think that the DIY moss terrariums are the perfect addition to our spring dining room. What do you think of them? Have you made something similar to these before? Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, or chat with me on Instagram!
