In yesterday’s post about my DIY wash tub herb garden there was some lovely DIY basket wall art hanging above the wash tub & I thought I would share how I came up with the idea for the basket art & share my source for the lovely print as well.
I found this basket at Target on clearance the other day. I had not originally planned on hanging it on the wall, but that randomly happened a few nights ago & than I randomly got the idea to pin a print I printed off of the New York Public Library website {here} in the middle of the basket with some push pins. Sometimes random is good… scratch that… most of the time random is good.
Hanging a basket on the wall is also really simple, a 3m strip or a small nail will do. Since we had a large basket one was sufficient for the space, but this would also look great with a few smaller baskets hung in a row with art pinned to them. The possibilities are endless.
