Simon Says Cornhole – DIY backyard game

A while back I was asked by Home Depot to create a DIY backyard game to feature over on their blog. Of course I said yes! I love or backyard at our historic downtown rental & I LOVE HOME DEPOT. Sign me up! I wanted to create a game that was stylish {duh} & fun. Coming up with a game was hard because we could have gone in so many directions, it was so hard to choose! We finally came up with a game that would be simple & fun for everyone to play no matter what the occasion was.

You may be thinking… isn’t that cornhole? Well, you are half right. It’s called simon says cornhole & it’s really fun. It mixes some simon says rules with some corn hole rules & it’s a little addicting. Oh & it doesn’t hurt that it matches our patio decor? See what I did there? A stylish backyard game. Perfect!

The really nice thing about this game is that all you need to make it is a few boards & some paint & I bought a few bean bags online. Unlike regular corn hole you only need one board to play with everyone & another bonus is that there is a few different ways you can play the game so it’s like a couple games in one. It’s pretty much the best backyard game ever.
