New Hair & Heading to Haven!

I have butterflies in my stomach as I type this. I’M HEADING TO HAVEN TOMORROW! If you don’t know, Haven is a blogging conference held in Atlanta, Georgia every year for bloggers. This will be my first ever blogging conference & I have no idea what to expect. Who will I meet, what if I have food in my teeth, What if I fall in front of everyone, ok.. I’m thinking way too much into this. But seriously new experiences like this kind of freak me out, but I’m super excited at the same time. To be honest I haven’t done much preparing for the conference. Maybe I should have done more, but it was one of those things if I thought about it, I stressed a little. Last minute as always I figured I should prepare a little so I ordered business cards, my bestie made me a necklace, & I got my hair done…

I went ombre for the second time in my life & I don’t think I’m going back! Of course my hair was black so it didn’t necessarily come out the exact color I wanted with bleach, but it’s a process & this is one of those things that will teach me patience. But seriously I love it & think it’s so fun! Who changes their hair dramatically before a big event? THIS GIRL! Fun fact: I actually chopped my hair to chin length right before I got married. Yup. You guys, have I ever told you how blessed I am to be surrounded by talented people? Talented people who want to see me succeed in life. Talented people who I call friends & family. As the time was getting closer my friend Rachael helped me make my business cards {How cute are they?!}, my friend Christine made me a name tag necklace {how cool is that necklace?!}, & my wonderful husband made me a media kit {tonight very last minute with out me asking… why he is so good to me I will never know!} Anyways these friends {& my hubby} helped me get ready for the conference & I’m forever grateful.
