In yesterday’s post I shared some quick cell phone photos of “before” & “during” photos of the Michigan house. I am back in NC now after a long week of working at the house & decided to take a quick video of the house progress as of right now along with a few more photos of just the main living area {no bedrooms, office, bathrooms, or basement} that I forgot to share yesterday. These photos & the video should give you a better idea of what we are working with. I hope you enjoy! & just imagine when all these spaces are finally finished!!
Here is a little video blog of our house as it looked yesterday & to be honest a lot was updated after this video even. I can’t keep up! & to think we will be living in this house NEXT MONTH! Can you believe it?
I hope this other view of the Michigan house gave you more insight on the home. I’m kind of wishing I took more photos & more video.. but that’s just me being a crazy blogger & wanting to document everything. Be sure to check out yesterday’s post to see more awesome before & “progress” photos {here}! Also, be sure to find me on Facebook & Instagram for more updates.
Where did you find your doors? Or did you make them? I like what you did with the closets esp
I’m so excited to see you and your husband create your new home! it looks amazing so far. Can’t wait to see more updates!
I love it and especially all the windows and that great natural light!! My husband and I have been married over 32 years and have done many house projects together :). God Bless you in your new home and your new life together!!
I have a doubt, will not put tile underneath the kitchen units? or will also remove all furniture from the room to put the floor and the tile?
Looks great, what a fun way to show us your new house! I love it too! I just bought a new-to-me house that was built in the 1960s and has the same kitchen layout as yours!

I found your blog through Painted Farmgirl. I am a vendor there and love your style. Look forward to working with you on a project one day!
Can’t wait to see how you make this lovely place a home. What part if Michigan are you from?? All my family is from Dearborn area and my mom went to northern Michigan university. I would love to move back to Michigan one day.
