We have this small hallway on our lower level {I say lower level because our house is an odd layout with 4 levels. More on that later} This hallway is right off of our lower level living room that leads to the basement, bathroom, & office. The hallway has barely any wall space & no room for anything significant like furniture, but I was not about to let this space be forgotten. I had these three silk botanical prints from Target {they are from like 2 years ago, so sorry they are no longer available. Check ebay.} & I was about to put them in our basement storage today & as I passed through this little hallway inspiration struck.
Want to know something cool about this? Maybe it’s just cool to me, but my office inspiration {the office is the door to the left} is a garden shed. I do not have a green thumb, but nature & botanicals are inspiring the whole space. These three botanical prints leading into the office which is pretty fitting. Kind of like home decor foreshadowing. deep. Here is what the tiny hallway looked like before I hung the prints…
To hang the prints I used 3M strips. It’s funny that I bought 3M strips almost daily to hang things in our rental & I dreamed of the day that I would put nails in the walls of our new home. But alas I’m now a 3M strip girl & it just makes hanging things less of a commitment. I like that. I like the fact that I’m not putting holes in the wall that I might regret in a week. But, don’t get me wrong I put a lot of holes in our walls & I’m not scared to do it, but sometimes less holes in the wall is better. & after I hung three of my favorite prints ever {Did I mention I got these babies on some serious clearance? Less than $10!}….
& there is the mess behind the doors. The office is making progress, & I will be putting an update about that here on the blog this week or next. The bathroom has made lots of progress, but funny part is, it’s the only room in the house that hasn’t been painted since we gutted the house. Who paints last after they hang things? This girl! I like to do things out of order most days because what’s the fun in being perfect? What do your think of my small hallway gallery wall? Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, or chat with me on Instagram. xx
I love how the art picks up off the color of the coloring! Super cute & simple! Nice job,Liz !

Very nice!
OK, you must be some superheroe doing so much innovative things in such a short time! My inspiration comes to me once a week, not more 🙂 how do you do that? Marvelous art and the best place to hang it. Greetings from Warsaw!
“…home decor foreshadowing. deep.” This cracked me up. It’s a thing. Love seeing your home come together, lady!
It really breaks the space up! I think it makes the hallway look bigger too. Beautiful as always 🙂
Love those prints… And that sneak peak into your office! I see those white IKEA chairs, I wondered what you did with those!! Have a great week! ~Kim
Are the doors new too? I love them. What style are they? I so want them 🙂
Those pictures are perfect there! See! That is why I never throw anything away…. kinda……
I love how your prints make the space look so warm and welcoming. I need to find the balance between too much and not enough! Your house is the perfect balance:)

You just made my whole day! haha I seriously get tired from having too many ideas. I don’t take it for granted though.. My add keeps going & I do like 5 things at once. Thanks for your sweet comment!!! xx
HAHAHA I’m glad you liked that 😉 It really is a thing!! Thank you friend!! Miss our coffee dates & missing NewBern these days! I hope you guys are doing well xx
Oh why thank you Shelley! That was the biggest compliment ever… seriously. Balance is key, but everyones idea of balance is different so don’t be hard on yourself! As long as your house feels comfortable for you and your family that’s all that matters. xx
HAHA we have an excuse!!!! I was debating on getting rid of these & I’m so glad I didn’t! Hoarders unite! <3 Lol xx
Yes! The doors are new & I will find out all the info & do a whole post on it very very very soon! xx
Yes!! They ended up in the office which worked out amazing! I can’t wait to show more of that room. xx
I agree Lauren!! Thank you so much for your compliment! xx
I actually liked the clean and minimalist “before”! But I loved the idea of a garden shed inspired home office! That’s inspired me for mine!
3m strips! Genius!! These prints look fantastic here – it’s like they were made for the spot.
Whoa, you know you’re up late when you type ‘coloring’ instead of ‘ flooring ‘ like I intended to say hahaha
Your lovely prints are just the perfect touch for your small hallway. I would have looked at that space and rhought it need something, but figured it was too small to do anything and forgotten it. That space was there just like it KNEW you had those prints! They look so pretty and how creative of you to try them out and find out just how “finished” they made your small hallway.
Thanks for sharing this! I received photos of some of our family members for Christmas and wanted to display them somewhere. We have a small space where they would look great but hadn’t thought of it until this post. Great inspiration!!
I love your doors! And am very jealous of all that sunlight! I live in a condo so we only have two sides with windows. The bedrooms catch some slivers here and there.
Just discovered your blog, and so glad I did! I have a tiny hall too…and now my mind is spinning with ideas. I have commitment issues with hanging things on my walls. I’ve lived in my home for almost two years and may have hung three pictures. Now I”m excited to get me some 3M strips! Great job 🙂

In addition, a patio is usually associated wit recreational activities,
relaxation, gatherings, and parties. As you feel more coomfortable with it, you wil get faster and better
at it. Speaking of kitchen sinks, there is a smart chance that you just if you’re
ssad alog with yourr kitchen, you mayy want to get and have a replacement kitchen sink put in.
