I want to get into a better habit of sharing my recent finds with you guys more often. From my fashion finds, food finds, skincare finds, & of course home decor finds. Anything I love I feel like it should be shared here. Because after all this is my blog where I share all things Liz Marie. I recently did an H&M home decor haul [here] which held a lot of my recent lovely finds so I won’t share those again, but here is some of the random things I have found lately that make me happy. Random items, random stores, & random reasons, but they all make me happy in some way or another.
This round mirror was a recent purchase from Overstock.com [here] I actually bought it for one of our bathrooms & it didn’t work for that space so we hung it here in our lower level living room. & since I know some of you will ask, The throw is from H&M, the fancy pillow is from House of Belonging, the clock is a DIY [here], & the rug is from Rugs USA.
This cute little metal bucket I picked up at World Market this past week fits perfectly by our sink. It holds a soap & lotion that’s also from world market {Lilac, my favorite}, a towel, & some other odds & ends you need by the sink. I love that it keeps those items organized & it’s the cutest little bucket I ever did see.
I have wanted this recipe box from Rifle Paper Co. for quite some time now. I’ve seen it in many stores, had it in my cart online, & for some reason I never purchased it. While I was in Anthropologie the other day I spotted it & it was actually the last one left, so I picked it up & now it’s making our unfinished kitchen a little prettier. I can’t wait to fill it with family recipes!
We chose to not make our counter a “bar counter” with an overhang of the countertops for barstools to save room in our small dining room. But I did want to have one barstool in the dining room for additional seating & so that I could sit at the counter & work if I wanted. I was kind of searching for the perfect barstool, but I stumbled across this antique one the other day & I just had to pick it up. It may not be what I was thinking for this space, but it will do for now. I found this one at Painted Farmgirl [[a local antique store]] Where I have my booth at. I get into lots of trouble there.
We all know by now that I am obsessed with ampersands. Always have been. When I was in Hobby Lobby the other day I walked by this metal ampersand & it was on clearance so I had to grab it. It hasn’t found it’s permanent spot yet, but it’s been floating around the house. I actually blogged it earlier this week with our DIY rustic entryway coat hooks [here] & I loved it there too.
This lovely grain sack pillow was another find from Painted Farmgirl. I don’t know why it spoke to me,but it just did. I knew I needed it. This chair has actually become our puppies favorite spot in the house. I actually Instagramed a photo of them sitting in it yesterday [here]. They are pretty adorable & so is this little pillow.
These are just a few things that I’ve got for our lovely little Michigan casa in the past few weeks. I think I missed a few things, but there are other blog posts for them. What kinds of things have you been buying lately? I can’t be the only one that can’t pass up deals. What do you think of my finds? Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram! xx

Love the mirror! I have been looking for one of those. Thanks for sharing your source 🙂
Liz, you have such an amazing eye for styling a rustic look! I can’t get enough of your photos – thanks for sharing where you found such great items!
Love your decorating style. Would you share the name of the rug? I searched rugsusa and couldn’t locate the exact rug.
Love everything of course! I have had that ampersand from Hobby Lobby for about a year in our living room wood floating shelves I made last year. I too buy those beautiful smelling soaps at World Market. I do love that bucket, I might just have to go get one during my lunch break with my recent $10 reward from World Market. We’re redoing our bathroom and would look great there. I duplicated that wood clock you made and I adore it as well.
Thanks for sharing all your awesome ideas! I always look forward to your posts whether its about home décor or just anything. Keep being amazing!
Love the World Market bucket!
So sorry if you have already answered this one or if I missed it… but where is that tray from that is holding your boots? I think you had the dog food in it before as well…..
Where did you get your oil and vinegar dispensers?
I like the use of the windows as a headboard and behind your sofa, and I’ve thought about doing that myself in our guest room but I’ve often wondered about the practicality of leaving the glass in the frame. Have you or your guests ever had any issues with that?
I love your kitchen display with the new recipe box. I too have wanted that one for quite some time, but just can’t bring myself to purchase it. However, I LOVE your oil dispense… Please tell me where you got it. It’s amazing!!!
I am so grateful you share everything! My daughter and I have adopted your skincare routine and follow your blogs…I can’t wait to find out about the doors in your new home- really want them and can’t seem to find them 🙂 Thank you!!
I have a scale in my kitchen that is almost the same exact one! I found it at a flea market for $10, I love it!
Hello! I love reading your blog, and I love your style:) I love seeing the updates on your new home. I am just wondering (I know not related to this particular post:)) which living room your tv is in? I know that is a crazy question, but I am always curious where the essential (in my book!) items are placed in a beautiful home. Thanks for all the inspiration! I also wanted to mention that I pray for you to have a baby. I too suffered infertility and lost two babies before being blessed with two daughters. It is not an easy road to travel down. On this side of things though I can clearly see God’s plan. I pray that for you as well;)
I just found your blog and I’m in love with all your decor! I love all the Ikea and H&M accents! All my pillows are H&M and I can’t get enough! I would love to have huge window panes like yours. Where did you get yours? LOVE it all! New follower for sure!
Where did you get that scale in your kitchen? I love!
Hi Aimee! Our TV is actually in the lower level living room that is the photos with the pom throw & the mirror. It’s actually in a little cove that I will be showing later. We do not have a tv in our upper living room which is quite enjoyable. thank you so much for your kind words about our journey that means a lot. I will be blogging more about our TV & such later & sharing where all that jazz is.. Hope you are having a great day! xx
It’s an antique Catie.. I am kind of obsessed with it 🙂
I found them at a local antique store Em! I am kind of in love with them. I am so happy you found my blog & I’m glad you like it! & yes H&M home is the best!! xx
So happy you love it Ann!! I will be blogging the doors very soon! We love them too <3 Thank you for following my little blog & for taking the time to leave such a sweet comment! xx
I wish I could say Lindsay! They were actually a gift from my Grandma!! Aren’t they cute? I have seen some cute ones at TJ Maxx & Marshalls as well!
Great question! Not at all.. I sit on that sofa daily alone and with other people & your head or any body part isn’t anywhere near the windows. The couch is pretty massive so you can’t touch it. Hope that helps!
They were a gift Cassie.. but I have seen similar ones at TJ Maxx & Marshalls xx
Thank you! It’s the Maui chunky loop rug I believe <3 xx
