I normally don’t blog 5 days a week. I usually take one day off which happens to be Thursdays normally, but this week I just wanted to come on here & chat on my “day off” & share some inspiration. I love blogging so much, I love you guys, & I love talking anything home decor & DIY related so sometimes it’s hard to take a day off from sharing on here. It’s just in me & I have to let it out. I can’t go a day without doing something creative. Today I didn’t do much on the creative side because it was my birthday [check Instagram HERE to see all my birthday updates] Jose took me on a surprise day date with 5 different surprise stops & it was quite heavenly & good to take a ‘me’ day as well. I felt so spoiled to day & very inspired creatively by all of our stops. So since I’m sitting here at midnight winding down from possibly the BEST birthday ever, I decided to write a quick blog post sharing with you a little tray we have in our kitchen. It was a super dreary day here & I took the photos late in the day so the photos aren’t the best, but you know what? This week is all about learning that everything doesn’t have to be perfect & you get the idea. It’s a tray in our kitchen. Get it? haha Here it is as it looked this gloomy afternoon…
Since our kitchen is small, I can’t do a huge tiered tray, well I could, but I’m choosing not to for now. I picked up this tray at Home Goods this past week for a baby shower that I threw for my cousin & decided the tray looked great in our kitchen as well! It’s the perfect little tray for the job. On the tray I have a little moss ball from Hobby lobby, some flowers & vases from world market, a candle from marshalls, an antique door knob, & a plant from Ikea. I think it’s just a happy little tray that is helping bring our kitchen into the spring & summer months.
Our little kitchen is getting super cozy pretty quick. We still have to pick cabinet hardware out, do something with the under cabinets, add some more decor, change some stuff out, & don’t get me started on organizing the two pantries, but this is so fun for me. I am in no rush, & doing little things daily is my motto. What do you think of our little farmhouse kitchen tray? Do you have a tray like this in your kitchen? Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram.

I love this tray! It makes the kitchen look so cozy. I have a similar tray on the table in my breakfast nook that I put napkins and some pretty salt and pepper shakers on. Now I want to add a touch of green to it! 🙂
I kind of really love the late afternoon light you captured here 🙂 Gives your kitchen a really cozy look. Happy Birthday 🙂

It is adorable!! I’ve been wanting a 3 tiered tray for a while now. I feel it would also be too big for my kitchen… We have one drawer just to give you an idea of its size. Lol Thanks for taking the time to share this. Now I feel like I too can have a little tray to decorate. I hope I am able to find a similar one at my HomeGoods! Also, Happy belated birthday! xx.
Love your kitchen!!! It’s gorgeous! May I ask where your wood tray and scale are from? I love that little corner so much!
Great tray and just love your kitchen- so pretty!
Great tray – I am actually heading to HomeGoods on Sat. – will be on the lookout! I am slowly changing my hodgepodge of decorating styles to a more uniformed look, more of an eclectic farmhouse style and I gave gotten so much inspiration from your blog. You have such a wonderful style – just wanted to thank you for sharing.
