Hi guys!! Thank you so much for stopping by my little blog today. I don’t know about you, but I am one of those people that watches beauty videos on youtube once in a while, I mean, I don’t know how to do my eyeliner perfect so I have to watch someone else do it & to teach me their ways! Maybe your makeup is always perfect, but if you want to learn some about awesome new products or how to use them, I would for sure search beauty videos on YouTube. [ I love Sccastaneda, Nicole Guerriero, Dulce Candy, Carli Bybel.. & I could go on!] A trend on Youtube beauty channels is the lovely makeup gurus doing “what’s in my purse” videos. I always love these videos to see what other people keep in there purses. I got to thinking today, maybe it would be interesting to show some things like this that are home decor related. Like “what’s in my junk drawer” or “what’s in my pantry” blog posts. Well, today I am starting with “What’s on my coffee Table[s]” So I took out my camera & snapped a few photos of our coffee tables looked today. I tend to switch up our coffee tables [& everything for that matter] so this will be a fun series here on the blog starting today…
So, in our upstairs living room we have this DIY round coffee table that we made. On top of it is something super super simple for spring. I’ve really been into simplicity & throwing things away lately, so this little centerpiece makes me happy. I placed a large round wicker tray from Target in the center to the coffee table. In the tray I placed some antique books with an antique door knob on top. Some “coasters” which are really wood blocks. A white ceramic rabbit on the tray is one of my favorite finds recently from Target, & it’s gold ears kill me every time! I recently found this olive bucket also from Target [ok, I shop there way too much] & I filled it with greens from Michaels. Simple, lovely, & totally spring worthy.
On our lower level living room coffee table it’s a little more layered, but still tons of room to use the coffee table because this is where we always sit & work, eat, & so on. In front of our DIY rustic coffee table we have an antique trunk. On top of the trunk we have a terrarium from Marshalls filled with succulents also from Marshalls. Next to the terrarium we have two candlesticks from Hobby Lobby. On top of the coffee table we have a long antique white wooden tray. Inside I have two plants from Ikea, some antique books, & an antique door knob. Simple, lovely, eclectic, & rustic. Pretty much my style.
What do your think of our coffee tables? I’m loving the simple rustic vibes of both of them, but of course they change almost daily so stay tuned for more “What’s on my coffee table[s]” posts. So question, what other “What’s in my…” or “What’s on my…” posts would you like to see? Leave the requests in the comments below or find me on Facebook & Instagram & let me know! xx
