One thing that has been bugging me for the past 5 months in our new home is that our upstairs bathroom had no bathroom hooks. No where to hang my towels. I was literally using the back of the toilet and the counters to set my towels, I know, yuck. I would always forget I needed towel hooks until I showered at night & then I would forget again. Finally a couple of weeks ago [it took me two weeks after I made the bathroom hooks to actually hang them up. I know I’m slow.] I created some DIY bathroom hooks for our upstairs bathroom & I think I love how this little towel hook thingy turned out. Please excuse the terrible photos, but this is what you get when there is no windows in a space. I think we need to add a window in this bathroom don’t you?!
I really love how many hooks the towel rack has & it’s finally given me the organization that I need! No more towels on the floor so I’m happy. It was so simple to make, & you can easily make one too..
To make this simple bathroom towel hook we used some barn wood & some hooks we found at Target. Yes, Target. & attached them to the barn wood. For the barn wood part we attached two pieces of barn wood together with wood pieces on the back to secure them. Super easy & you can customize yours to what fits your style & needs.
The hooks we got from Target came in a set of three as shown above & we purchased two packs to make our towel rack with. I just love these vintage style hooks & I couldn’t believe they were a Target find. Thank you Target for being so awesome! The green wreath is a DIY project [here] & the towels were a find from Marshalls.
Seriously the most simple project. I don’t know why it took us so long to make. It’s so funny how the simple things make the biggest impact on our lives though, because this towel rack will make me happier from now one when I take a shower & I don’t have to store my towels on my toilet anymore. It’s the little things. I hope you guys enjoyed our DIY bathroom hooks & let me know in the comments below, Facebook, Instagram what you think of them! xx
