Hi guys! Thanks for stopping by my little blog today. If you are stopping from Addisons Wonderland then a very special hello to you! Our house is constantly evolving. I mean do I have to say it anymore? haha We all know this & most of our homes are constantly evolving with our taste & as we do projects, ours just seems to evolve more than normal as far as decor because I just can’t stop changing things. We have lived in this house for about 6 months now so it’s far from being “done”, but really when is a house ever “done”. I think never. Well, since it’s nearing summer our decor is slowing shifting that way as well as project list is just growing quickly with summer projects. As many of you know we are completely currently re-doing the outside of our home. New siding, new porch, deck, patio, & so on, so the inside of our home has been lacking a little lately as far as projects getting done. But some of my blogging friends are doing a summer home tour hosted by The Shabby Creek Cottage this week of their homes & I wanted to join even though we haven’t done much “summer” quite yet inside but I have done a little so I can still play right? Here is a little tour of our early summer home decor in a few rooms of our home….
First stop is our entryway & our upstairs sitting room how they were today. The sun peeked it’s head out of rainy clouds for a few minutes this afternoon, but it was mostly a dark & cloudy day here in Michigan which made me crave the summer sun even more…
& on to our dining room & kitchen & how they look today…
& our lower level living room today… I’m actually about to clear everything out of this room & start fresh so it’s kind of nice to have this ‘before’ of the room…
& a few little shots from our guest bedroom & master bedroom upstairs…
Besides some added floral, I didn’t even clean the house for this tour so don’t mind our dust & dirty floors over here while we are enjoying the beginning of summer. It’s been so busy over here these days I can’t even catch my breath, but we are loving every minute of it & I hope you guys are having a good beginning of summer as well. What do you think of our early summer home? Let me know in the comments below, on Facebook, or chat with me on Instagram & be sure to visit Charles & Hudson today to see their summer home tour as well!
HI!! just wondering where you bought the sugar/tea/coffee jars? I love the font on them! Also are you planning on adding hardware to the kitchen cabinets?
Do you mind if I ask where you got the sign in the last picture? “And if not, he is still good.” I need that reminder!
Your home is gorgeous! I love how it looks so comfortable, inviting and designed so aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The greens in every room are an awesome addition! Are they all real?

I don’t know how you put all of these things together and still look nice and pretty. This will never happen to me. I don’t have this talent. You are amazing in that.
So beautiful! I love all of the fresh white and neutrals. The natural greens in the rooms are so lovely. I enjoy all of your seasonal home tours!
Beautiful tour! I just adore your style… it’s earthy, comfy, and striking all in one. I can feel myself wanting to curl up in any one of those spaces and get comfy with a coffee. I just find it remarkable how you’ve made this new home yours already… it’s amazing!
If you need to unload anything from that room you’re redoing, send it my way;)
You have an incredible style. Your home is swoon worthy. I just love every nook and corner. The letting in the kitchen above the window to the little touches with the soap bottles in the tin, ADORE! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!!!
sorry that was lettering in the kitchen 🙂
Love the old laundry cart turned into a sideboard!
