On a whim last week Mr. LMB decided to switch around our office & our guest bedroom. We are moving our office upstairs on the same level as our master & master bath. Then our guest bedroom will be on our lower level with our lower living room & bathroom. I’m loving it so far even though it’s far from done & I have been excited to try new things in the new office. First up, I knew we needed a new desk. In our last office when it was on the lower level we were using our old dining room table & it just wasn’t going to work in the new space. I stopped in World Market last week & stumbled upon a lovely campaign desk that I knew would be perfect in the room so I snatched it up at a great price. The room is far from finished & I kind of just through things on the desk, but you know when the room is complete you will see it, for now this is how it looked today…
The desk is the campaign desk at World Market & I love it. I didn’t go into World Market expecting to find a desk, but when I saw this one & that it matched the bookshelf in our office almost perfectly I had to have it. We love the desk so far. We can both sit at it and work which is wonderful because that’s usually how it goes here, & it seems super solid & sturdy which is great because I think it will hold up through lots of wear & tear that we will put on it. Now those chairs? They are getting painted! I’m so excited to paint something again, I feel like it’s been a few weeks since I’ve painted something so I’ll hopefully get to these babies soon.. what color? who knows yet! I’ll keep you updated.
The office is moving right along now that we have a desk… can’t wait to work on it more! Stay tuned for office updates & of course follow me over on Facebook & Instagram for more behind the scenes. What do you guys think of the desk? Let me know in the comments below! xx

We have this desk in our bedroom as a desk/vanity/night stand…. LOVE IT. Seriously one of our best buys. It’s huge, love the slide out side tables, and the color is great.
Looks wonderful in your office!
I was just in World Market this week and saw this desk. I really like this desk a lot! Fits well in your office space. I know you love a good painting project, but I think the chairs are pretty great how they are! Although I’m sure whatever you decide they will be fabulous! Where are the chairs from? They are charming!
Thank you so so much Brittany! Like you, we are in love!!! Yours sounds like it is put to really good use too!!! <3 xx
Isn’t it a nice desk?? We love it too! & you are right! I should have said where the chairs are from.. they are junkie finds of mine that I have collected over the past few months. I do love them & have thought about not painting them… we shall see! Maybe when the mood hits. I’ll keep you updated! xx
What a fantastic desk:-)
Love the vintage style of the desk. It’s a pleasure to work in such an office:-)
Greetings:-)
That desk is completely droolworthy!! Plus, what a great idea to put that gorgeous and rustic door behind your desk! It gives it just a little bit of character and a whole lot of future potential to change out the sign for the holidays and all that good stuff 🙂
I’ve been drooling over this desk ever since I saw your post! Now it’s on sale and I’m ready to buy it… but there are a lot of negative reviews about the sturdiness of the desk and I can’t see it in person without a long drive. I’m looking to replace what I have now because I’m worried about it’s wobbles – I use my grandmother’s old Tiffany-style lamp beside my 21″ all-in-one computer and it just doesn’t feel safe.
What are your thoughts? I’d love input! Thanks 🙂
