I was walking through Target the other day… how all of my blog posts start… & I spotted a pretty cute copper fall banner. I’m not usually one to have tons of copper in my house, but I really loved this banner & I wanted to play around with the banner in my fall decor. When I got it home I really wanted to play about with the banner in a different way so I decided to add it into a dining room table centerpiece that I created. Of course I will play around with it more, but this is one way to use banners in your home decor…
I was really impressed with the quality of this banner for $7.99. I was expecting fin foil thin letters & some string, but what I got was thick sturdy metal letters & rope. Impressive. Target does it once again. To create this centerpiece I started with a plaid throw from Marshalls & laid in on the table in the center. I placed a white water pitcher from Marshalls on the throw & filled it with cotton branches from Michaels. I then layered pumpkins & moscow mule mugs also from Marshalls in the center of the throw. I wanted the banner to lay on the table instead of hanging it up. It really popped on the white table & made the centerpiece really stand out.
& you know that I had to play with it some more so I added some pumpkins & played with it more later on in the day….
I think it looks pretty good with more & less pumpkins. Just me having way too much fun with fall decor again. Have you used a banner in a centerpiece before? It’s a great way to add a pop of interest to your table. This fall centerpiece would be great all fall & a great thanksgiving centerpiece as well! I really hope you guys enjoyed today’s blog post & feel a little inspired. I will be blogging our “new” dining room table soon by the way if some of you noticed the big change! Oh my word, so beautiful! I have a serious crush on just about anything copper, and love how you’ve used it here. Thanks so much for sharing!
