I sometimes play around with decor & I zone out while listening to music & something lovely happens. Only sometimes. The other day I got these fall crates from Marshalls & decided to use them in our dining room. I gathered some pumpkins & greenery that I already had around the house & created what Mr. LMB would call a “sculpture”, he says I make them a lot. So what would Jose call this? A DIY fall crate sculpture maybe? I’ll just call it rustic fall crates…
When I spotted these crates at Marshalls I seriously just had to have them. Maybe it’s because I’m a hoarder, but I think it’s because they are amazing. I would DIY crates like this for fall, but since I found them already made I will take 3 please! The pumpkins are from Michaels along with the greenery & we already had all of these items. I just simply played around with it all in the crates & it turned out like this eclectic, neutral, & very fall inspired. That cotton wreath is also from Michaels & reminds me of our beloved state of North Carolina that we had to say goodbye to this year. You can see our dining room cubbies [here] with more sources.
I’ll be back next week with this neutral fall dining room look & I’m excited to show you the whole thing. This room is actually going to have a HUGE change soon & I’m so excited to show you that as well.. & secretly hoping that it works out. Cross your fingers! I hope you liked my rustic fall crates & that maybe it inspired you to play around with your fall decor this weekend. Let me know what you think in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. & as always thank you so so so much for stopping by my little blog. I appreciate each & every one of you! xx

Now I want to DIY myself some pretty rustic crates 🙂 I’m embracing a neutral fall this year so I love seeing your white pumpkins and green greenery. Great display!
I was excited (and proud) when I saw the crates because I am usually running to the store to buy what you show, but this time I had already purchased those crates from Marshall’s. When I got them I thought Liz would love these, wonder if she has seem them yet … of course you have. Love your style and thanks for sharing and inspiring us everyday 🙂
Liz, love the crates, they are awesome. I wanted to thank Jose for his service. My nephew officially became a marine yesterday, on Parris Island, Sc, 3rd Battalion. I am so proud, and I know you are too of Jose! Praying for you and Jose in all of your struggles. God Bless.
Hi Liz Marie,
Quick question unrelated to this blog post (sorry!). I found this image online connected to your blog and wanted to know if you had more images or information you could share on this project, assuming it was yours!
