Living Room Makeover: DeAnn Art Painting & Giveaway

Where to even begin with this one. I have dreamed for a long time now of having a beautiful piece from Deann art in our home. I’m sure most of you have heard of her & seen her amazing paintings, but for those of you who don’t know, you must check her work out, I promise you will not be disappointed. Her paintings are simply lovely & the gorgeous icing on the cake of the room they are displayed in. I would say they are quite magical in every way & totally “Liz Marie style”. Well, I can finally say that we have one of her beautiful paintings in our home & I find myself staring at it often. I am actually currently sitting on our couch looking at it as I type this. I know, mildly obsessive.

I kind of sort of made a DIY frame for it out of a tobacco basket that was a junkin’ find & I’m sort of kind of in love with that too. I think it displays the painting nicely & really makes it a focal point in our downstairs living room. I don’t think it’s any secret that I love barns & so this lovely barn painting is just perfection for us & our home. Along with being an amazing artist she is also one of the most sweetest, uplifting, inspirational woman ever & a must follow. Her words & art will literally make your day. I think my next goal is to meet her in person or maybe see her in action painting? How cool would that be. Ok, I’m done being creepy! The print I chose was American Made II in the 24×24 size & I couldn’t be happier with the one that we chose. It’s charming & trust me like with every post, my photos do not do it justice.

If you are wondering how we hung the print in the tobacco basket we simply hung the tobacco basket by screwing it into the wall. Then we put a nail in one of the tobacco basket holes & hung the print on it. Super simple & makes a big impact! Our lower level living room makeover is moving right along & this painting was a huge part of the makeover.
