I feel like Mr. LMB aka Jose doesn’t share too much about himself, so guess what? I’m here to share a little about him today. He loves building & creating new things. His happy place is building, but only things that he really wants to build. It’s rare that I ever say “Hey, can you build this…” because he’s happiest when the inspiration strikes him & he feels inspired. We are participating in a barn sale this coming weekend [see end of the post for more details on that] & he wanted to create some items to sell there. He came up with a list of winter decor items & ultimately decided he would try his hand at some DIY rustic wood sleds. I couldn’t picture what they were going to look like, but a couple hours later he came inside with this wonderful rustic sled & again I was so impressed with his building and painting skills.. I wish I could get some of that talent passed on to me! Here are some quick photos I snapped of one of my favorite sleds he made…
Is it not adorable? & I am always so impressed with his creativity & how his brain works. He shared how he made these sleds on his blog [here] today so you guys could make some yourself. No fancy templates here, because he made all three the sleds he made individually and unique. But you can still get the idea & get some great ideas for yourself because he shares his thoughts & directions on how to go about making yours.
I’m loving the sleds & I think Jose should make me some for our house.. what do you think? We will have these and a lot of lovely items for sale at the Black Sheep Barn Sale this coming Saturday November 14th you can go [here] to see all the event details. Hope to see you there if you are in West Michigan area. I hope you enjoyed today’s post about the DIY rustic wood sled & that it inspired you. Have you ever made a wood sled or something like it before? Let me know in the comments below & be sure to chat with me on Facebook & Instagram. Thank you as always for stopping by my little blog & for sharing it with your friends! It means so much! xx
