You guys know that I love playing around with home decor, especially around the holidays. I love trying new things & playing with different materials & items that I already have lying around the house. I was playing with some coffee table decor the other day & I decided to share with you one of the concepts I created the other day even though it’s not the one I ultimately went with for our upstairs living room. Before I switched it up I thought maybe you guys would want to see it. Secretly I just hope that you guys love my erratic need to constantly re-decorate our home. Please say you do. I snapped a few photos of my creation & I really hope you enjoy it…
I used an antique copper bin I had & decided to fill it with some cozy winter goods like a throw from Ikea, a christmas tree from Michaels in a olive bucket from Target, some garland from Homegoods, & some found items like spindles. I decided to use my mercury glass candleholders from Marshalls as well. This look could be accomplished with items that you already have whether it’s a basket or a bin. Just place the Christmas tree in & build up around the Christmas tree with a few different items like a throw, some garland, & some rustic items. I think I need to title this “bucket full of Christmas stuff centerpiece” or something like that. But really, it’s that easy & really creates a cozy centerpiece. I did like this one a lot but decided to use it by the Christmas tree instead & I will be doing a different centerpiece on this coffee table which I will share soon. I’ll also be showing what this little bin of goods looks like by the tree soon as well.
I like to mix the old with the new & I think that was what was so fun about this eclectic metal Christmas centerpiece. I took these photos before I stuck some ornaments in the tree & finished our mantel, so I’m excited to share with you more of our christmas decor from now until December. Who is ready to decorate?!? I know majority of you wait until after Thanksgiving, but I hope my blog inspires you for when you do decorate in some small way. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today & for sharing it with your friends.. it means so much! Be sure to follow me on Instagram & Facebook to keep up with me.

I LOVE it! And I’m so glad you change things often for the holiday season. I get so much inspiration from your posts and this one inspires a new use for one of my copper pots. One of the BEST things I love about your decor is that you buy items from the familiar chain stores. I can always find great discounts, coupons, and sales to change my decor on a budget. Thanks again and I look forward to future posts.
Where, oh where, did you find that fabulous round wood church sign?!? I’m in love and was hoping you made it!
