Eeeeek! I’m so excited to share this Thanksgiving table that I styled with you guys today. World Market wanted to work with me on a Thanksgiving themed table & of course I said yes! We purchased our dining room chairs, rug, & light fixture from here already, so if that doesn’t say how obsessed I am with the store than I don’t know what does. I wanted to do a natural & neutral thanksgiving themed table & bring the nature indoors for the holiday. The fun thing about this week by the way? I am blogging a Thanksgiving table today & tomorrow. Both are natural & neutral but TOTALLY different. Excited to share tomorrows look with you as well! On to today’s natural turkey thanksgiving table…
How about them turkeys?! So for my natural thanksgiving table I have some tips on how I achieved this look here. Of course while you eat your dinner your table will be filled with yummy food, but before the celebration & even on another table in your home like an entryway table this would be fabulous!
Some quick rustic natural thanksgiving table tips:
– Start with turkeys! I picked these turkeys out at World Market, but of course in Liz Marie fashion I spray painted three of the turkeys to make them more neutral. I used the turkeys as the main part of my table centerpiece. You can see their makeover I gave them [here].
– Add natural elements! I added a moss table runner on top of my burlap table runner that I picked up at the craft store. I also added moss on top of the candlestick holders to bring the moss up from the centerpiece. Log slices are under all the plates. Cornucopias filled with moss & to top it all of I used succulent napkin ring holders on top of the plates.
– Layer! The whole table is lots of layers of textures & natural elements. Adding more layers adds more interest. An example of layering: The wicker chargers, the log slices, & the plate. The three layers add more interest to the place setting & really make those plates pop!
This table seriously puts me in the Thanksgiving mood! It’s really funny, if you follow me on Instagram [here] you will see that half of our house is Thanksgiving & half of our house is Christmas.. too funny! I wanted to get an early start on Christmas decor so I could get some inspiration posts up here on the blog before you my friends start decorating. Unless you are a crazy like me & love decorating for christmas early too. The longer the christmas decor is out the better in my little book! Anyways I hope you loved this table I styled with World Market & that it put you in the Thanksgiving mood. You can find all these items I used on the table [here] for your Thanksgiving decor & a lot of items are on sale which is pretty awesome! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. As always, THANK YOU so much for stopping by my little blog & showing me some love, it means so much to me! xx
