Remember when I blogged our “fall front porch” [here]. & remember when I said it was more like a stoop & that we were getting a porch built on the front of our house, well that hasn’t happened yet. You know how it is. You have a project list for your home, but other things take a priority so it gets pushed to the back. We have been super busy lately [more on that coming soon.. I’m so excited to share!] So, for Christmas I decorated our little stoop proudly for Christmas & I wanted to come & share it with you guys today so grab your cup of coffee & come visit our little home & our little rustic Christmas porch…
It’s a small stoop so there isn’t too much to chat about, but you better believe I used up the space I’m given! The main focus of of the space [in my opinion] is this Joy sign that I turned into a wreath. You can see how we made ours [here]. I simply have a metal hanger on the back of the sign & hung it on your average “over the door” wreath hanger. That lovely rug was a Target find, that’s where I always seem to get my seasonal rugs from. The set of buckets are from A Cottage In The City [here] & are so worth the splurge! My idea for them? In the summer simply turn them around & use the plain side & fill them with season appropriate greens or stencil on the plain side with seasonal appropriate words. I filled mine with a Christmas tree, birch logs that my dad gave me, & a tiny Christmas tree that I got at a roadside stand for $4. That little wagon was a junkin’ find that I filled with some vintage buckets, greenery, & a vintage sled. & of course that light is from warehouse lighting & we love them so very much. I’m still happy with that choice to go with them!
There is no snow here in Michigan so the Christmas decor almost doesn’t feel right, but I think our porch gives off Christmas vibes even without the snow. I love incorporating vintage pieces in with new pieces alongside some DIY pieces to create the perfect little space. I’m also loving our temporarily painted door that you can read about [here].
I hope this proves that you don’t need a big extravagant porch to deck it out for the holidays. A little stoop can go a long way…. or something like that. Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by my little blog today & checking out my porch. It seriously means so much to me when you guys visit my blog & I hope you know that. I hope you guys are having fun this season decorating for the holidays big or small & I hope you leave here feeling inspired daily. Be sure to find me on Facebook & Instagram to keep up with me. xx

I’m going to have to stop visiting. Your site crashes my browser (google Chrome) every time I come here. I’m not sure if it’s your ads or the very pictures heavy posts. I’m not sure why there’s the need t share 13 images of the same thing 2-3 would do and probably make your site run better.
I love that sled! Thanks for sharing!
