A long time ago in a far away land. Actually it was more like last summer right here in Michigan, but that sounded cooler. I purchased a display pallet from World Market that someone was selling. It was practically free & I thought I could make something for it. Flash forward to this month & we decided to make super simple coffee table with it. & by simple, I mean super simple! Not sure if World Market sells these often or if they are easy to come by, but if they are you need to go and pick one up! If you can find one, you could get the same effect by stacking two regular wood pallets on top of each other. None the less this is what we came up with for our DIY pallet coffee table…
Honestly this project is so easy that I’m sure you don’t need me to say much. I dry brushed the World Market display pallet with Maison blanche cobblestone & then used dark wax to seal it. I attached three wheels to the bottom of the pallet. We chose to do three wheels for a “vintage cart” look, but you could do 4 wheels if you wanted. The wheels we used were vintage, but you can find wheels at any hardware store to use. All you we did is screw them into the bottom of the pallet. So easy!! & voila! there we have a DIY pallet coffee table.
What it looked like before:
& after we did a little work on it…
The one thing I love about this coffee table is the size. It’s a small coffee table which is perfect for our guest bedroom. I haven’t really blogged this room yet because it’s not finished, but I guess this post is a sneak peek. Not every sitting area calls for a huge coffee table so this solution is perfect. Like I said before, if you can’t find this specific world market pallet, you can for sure use a regular wood pallet.
I LOVE simple projects like this. I mean, we got this thing for practically free & turned it into a pretty awesome coffee table if I do say so myself. I hope this shows you that it doesn’t have to cost a lot to be beautiful. I really like to mix DIY & lower priced items with a few higher-priced items to get the look I love. I hope you guys enjoyed this post & loved seeing our DIY pallet coffee. Have you made a pallet coffee table before? How did you do it? Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today & for sharing my post, it means so much!

This turned out spectacular! PS – I designed a “junkin” shirt that is right up your alley, check out my page (melissasantiques.com).
I love this! We haven’t had a coffee table because our space is too small but this is a great alternative.
