Saying Goodbye
This is an exciting week here on the blog!! While we are moving to our new house, I will be doing final before & afters of all the rooms in our home as we are now moving into our new, well very old, farmhouse that you can read more about [here] in my announcement post last week. During our move, I am taking photos of each room as it looks right before we pack it up & sharing the final look here on the blog. We lived in this house for a year & a half & did a TON of work on it to update it from the 80’s tri-level it was to a modern-day farmhouse style home. If you have been following my updates on Instagram [here] or Facebook [here] then you know it’s been a bitter-sweet journey leaving our current home to live in our dream home, but you guys have been so amazing with all your encouraging & helpful words. Just one more reason I love sharing this journey with you guys. Today is the final tour of our home before we are fully moved into the new place! Can you believe that?! It seems a little final for me, but I’m ready for new adventures. It’s all about our master farmhouse bedroom today. The funny thing is, like most of the other rooms I gave tours of this past week, this room wasn’t all the way done in my opinion, but we did love this room & this is how it looked right before I boxed it up…

Here is how the room looked before…

& after we gave this room a lot of love…

The Look
This room is super simple & calming & that’s why I love it. Our bed is from Arhaus & it makes a great focal point in the space. The rug [here] & throw blanket [here] is from Target. The nightstands, shutter, & shelf are all antique finds. The light fixture is from Painted Fox & the lamps are from Pottery Barn [here]. the mirrors, pillows, & candles are from Marshals. The bedding is from Anthropologie [here] & the faux greenery is from Ikea. The “we still do” sign was made by my friend Holly from Hollyhocks & Hydrangeas & is probably my favorite piece in the whole room. I love her work! This room was a cozy little getaway & really did its job while we lived here. It truly has been my dream farmhouse bedroom. Sad to say goodbye to it, but at least we have the photos & the new place to decorate!
I hope you enjoyed this final tour of our master farmhouse bedroom! This is the final room tour of this home so this is a big goodbye to this house. I wanted to thank you all for encouraging us & cheering us on as we gave this home a makeover. You are the reason I come on here every day to share what we are up to & I’m so grateful for all of you. THANK YOU. I hope you know that it means a lot to me when you comment, like, share, read, & care about my little blog. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest to keep up with me. Thank you guys.. on to the next house! xx

All white is indeed very calming for a bedroom. The right balance between being soothing and being bright for getting up in the morning.
Oh my amazing! This is beautiful! I hope you don’t mind if I share it over on my Facebook page and link back to you. I love your style!
How beautiful and inspiring! I discovered your page via this post from Pinterest. Then come to find out you are in my home state NC! If you ever make it to the Outer Banks on a beach vacation, look me up for lunch. I also read your struggles with miscarriage and I’m so sorry. Now I’m trying not to lose it at work. I hope things work out for you to be blessed with a healthy baby. xo
Such a beautiful style! May I ask where the rug is from?
