Farmhouse Patriotic Porch – Happy Fourth Of July!

Happy Fourth of July!!! This time of year makes me really emotional for a few reasons. It’s a time when I get together with family at the cottage as a tradition & that alone is a really special thing, but it also reminds me of how amazing our country is & how much I love being an American. It makes me think of my husband serving our country for 10 years & how passionate he is about our freedom, our flag, & his fellow service members. I guess you can say it makes me thankful & proud every fourth of July.  I shared our fourth of July porch the other day, but I realized it wasn’t quite showing enough of my patriotic spirit so I hung my favorite american flag on the side of our house & I love it so much more…. 

The window right there had some places on the side to hang the grommets of the flag on which worked out really well. You can see all the sources of this porch [here] on my last 4th of July porch post from last week. I just wanted to stop in today to show how it looks today on this patriotic holiday.
