I have the hardest time finding coffee tables. The. Hardest. Time. It’s probably because I’m so picky or that I feel like I had a certain one in mind. Or maybe it’s just that I’m always switch our coffee tables out so often. Either way, this post is about a coffee table that I found for our sunroom this past weekend so let’s not try to define it. If you follow me on Instagram [here] you saw that we had a DIY coffee table that Jose made a few weeks back. We actually didn’t make the piece to be a coffee table, but it ended up in our sunroom as a coffee table just temporarily. Until this weekend. I wasn’t looking for a coffee table, but isn’t that how they say that it happens? When you are looking for true love that’s when you will find it? Just kidding, kind of. But I really do love this coffee table that we found at a local antique shop [Garden House Antiques for my locals] & I think it fits perfectly in our sunroom by our Ikea sofa…
The first thing I loved about it was the natural wood tones. I thought it would add some wonderful warmth & texture to the sunroom. The second thing I loved about it was the size. It was petite, but still large enough to fit by our sectional. & let’s face it, it’s big enough for me to style & use for daily things as well & that’s important. On the coffee table I placed a tablecloth I picked up at Magnolia Market & a black tray from Painted Fox. Inside the tray I have some random items like some vintage drawers, a candle from Magnolia, some handmade pumpkins from Junque cottage, a pot from Target, & some simple greens from Michaels. The third reason I loved this lately table? The price. It was less than $150 & that was the biggest selling point. So, we loaded it in the Wagoneer & plopped it right in our sunroom. It was quite the perfect fit.
Now the million dollar question, how long will this one stay? The answer: One may never know. Thanks for putting up with my impulsive furniture changes & for following along through the journey of it all. You guys are the best. Oh, & you want to see photos of the coffee table with nothing on it? So sorry I forgot to take photos of that earlier today. Stay tuned for more photos soon. What do you think of our new [old] coffee table in our sunroom? I kind of love the idea of the tablecloth on the coffee table for now. I thought the idea was unique & cute way to cozy the coffee table up a little. Share your thoughts with me in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog & for always sharing it with your family & friends. It means so much to me! xx
Oooe, I love that! (Corner couch here as well – always a struggle to find something to fit there. We have a round Moroccan tray table now).
That looks so nice with the tablecloth on it. Painted Fox is way to high on their prices. They do have unique things though.
I love it! And of course it’s styled beautifully!
Awesome find!
I love it! You are right, the wood grain add the perfect touch!
Love the wood tones with the white! Glad it found its way to you!
