So yesterday I blogged something amazing that happened to me at Magnolia Market [here] & today I wanted to come on here and share with you one of my perfect little finds that I hung up this week in our farmhouse from Magnolia. Can I confess something to you? I was the one who flew to Magnolia Market with two suitcases last week. One had clothes, bathroom supplies, & other travel items in it & the other one was… empty. Is that normal? Do others do this? I felt a little less weird about this when I talked to other visitors at Magnolia Market while I was there because there were others that did the same thing. I was just preparing for some major shopping. Sadly, I didn’t get to do too much shopping while I was there, but I did manage to pick up a few things. When I went to The Findery & shopped the silobration market the items I found were bigger than the plane I came in on. Like coffee tables, card catalogs, corbels that were taller than me, & so much more. I practiced this thing called self control that some people have talked to me about before. I only had to end up shipping one item because it was just a little too long for the suitcase, but I’ll blog about that later. It was hard to practice self control while I was in Waco, but I did just a little shopping in the market & two of my favorite items I picked up I already hung on the walls in our dining room…
So sweet. I saw these these metal wall vases in the market & thought right away that they would look lovely on both sides of our french doors in our dining room. I honestly really never thought about hanging in those spaces until I saw those vases. I had to have them. Enter my empty suitcase… it wasn’t a waste of my time! I also found a few other items like tea towels, a tablecloth, & some other things I will share later. But these wall vases & this greenery from Magnolia I had to share with you today. I’m excited to fill these vases with seasonal items, but for now these simple greens have my heart. & knowing me this is how they will look most of the year…
I simply hung them with little nail & it literally took me 3 minutes to hang & it instantly added some whimsy and charm to this little area of our house. Our little farm house comes to life more and more every single day. We still have some major projects in this dining room like those floors, but who cares when you have the cutest vases hanging on the wall right? But really, those floors will be taken care of really soon hopefully. What do you guys think of our new wall vases & where I hung them? Also, I must know, do you travel with empty suitcases when you know you will be doing a lot of shopping? I can’t be alone on this. Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by my little blog today & for sharing it with you family and friends. It means so much to me! Be sure to find me on Facebook & Instagram. xx

On my “bucket list”: go to Texas to visit Magnolia, Rachel Ashwell’s The Prairie, and Round Top. And my other trip: up to Michigan to visit The Found Cottage … And I’ll be pulling a trailer to both!! Ha!
Gorgeous! Love the vases ♥
Exactly what is on my bucket list as well!!! I am hoping to travel to both states next year…empty suitcases for sure!
Some day I hope to visit the Magnolia Silos and some of the other shops around town! I love your metal vases. They look perfect! I also was inspired by your awesome God inspiring trip to Waco! I’m 60 years old now but can relate to losing all those babies. I lost 5. We didn’t end-up having any children but wish I would have adopted. Thank god my husband had a 6 year old son from his first marriage when I met him. I’m blessed with 3 grandchildren now! Your prayers will be answered. My prayers were answered but not in the way that I thought they would be. God’s presence is with you always. Praying you will have the family that you desire! I know how painful the journey is towards motherhood.
We went to Silobration last year, and I SHOULD have thought to bring an extra suitcase! I jammed some clothes in my husband’s suitcase along with some Magnolia finds. Creatively packed the rest in my suitcase and wore more layers of clothes home than I’ll admit to! Haha! This year sounded so fun with the addition of all the vendors…I loved getting to see it all through your eyes! I hope to visit again.
