We Made It To Country Living!

Well, I forgot to share something pretty exciting a month ago & I always try to share these things here with you guys because it’s because of your support that I am able to accomplish these goals & I am truly thankful…

Guys, we made it to Country Living Magazine. Yes. I can’t believe it either. For a few reasons… first, our house is in shambles & not even close to even having one room done so it was a huge compliment that they wanted to include a room of ours. & second, I’m just a little girl in Michigan who is failing daily at many things so this lifted my spirits so much and encouraged me to keep up the hard work on our house and farm. The feature was on 50 Dream Rooms from around the country & they picked our dining room for Michigan… say what?! Honored to say they least… thanks guys & a huge thanks to all of you guys who sent a congrats when you saw us in there… You made me feel so loved!

In other exciting news, if you haven’t noticed Liz Marie Blog got a little makeover the other day by the lovely Shawn from Bello Via Design House. It’s not done yet, but I thought I would mention it so that you guys weren’t confused. Things are always evolving here & I’m always trying adapt and make it easier for everyone to navigate and find past posts. There is now a “search bar” at the top of the page so you can find posts, we will be adding a “popular posts” section & a spot where you can find all of my design boards. You can now “shop our home” & “Shop my recent favorites” in one easy convenient spot & I’m hoping to make daily changes that makes Liz Marie Blog a great place to visit. Thank you again for always supporting this little blog of mine… it’s honestly my happy place & so healing to come and share here throughout our whole journey.

In even more exciting news… As many of you know I own a shop here in Michigan, The Found Cottage, with two amazing ladies & it’s another one of my “happy places” that I wish you could all visit! Well, this Labor day we are doing something exciting that I hope some of you will be able to participate in & visit. We are hosting a market!! This coming Labor day weekend [September 1 & 2] in Holland Michigan at The Ottawa County Fairgrounds [right by the beach… whoop!]. It’s called The Found Cottage Mercantile Market [HERE] & will be filled with 150-200+ vendors from all over the country selling vintage, handmade, boutiques, clothing, jewelry, farmhouse, mid century, food trucks, entertainment, & so much more. I’ll be talking more about this on the blog later, but for now I wanted to announce to you creatives, makers, pickers, foodies, entertainers & more who are local [or not] that want to be a vendor at our market you can apply [HERE] & if you want to come to the event on labor day and shop the market & enjoy all the food trucks & entertainment… you can buy tickets in advance [HERE] It’s going to be a good time & I truly hope a lot of you can come & join us in one way or another. So many happy things going on that it’s really hard to slow down these days, but it’s all gifts from above.
