With all the craziness of the store and planning the market lately I’ve needed little distractions to keep my mind off of everything in my free time. I started fall decor super early because I lack self control & because I wanted to share fall inspiration before the masses started decorating in hopes to inspire in some small way. Anyways since I started so early I was inspired to create a mix of a bit of the last of summer with the beginning of fall & I started on our mantel in the front living room….
This mantel decor was super easy. I took some faux moss from the craft store, some antiqued flower pots, an old window, & some faux pumpkins to create a rustic garden fall mantel. I started by placing the antique window on the mantel & then spread the faux moss all over. I arranged the floor pots on the mantel & filled those with moss as well. I of course through some pumpkins in because why not? I liked it simple like that, but then I remembered I had this amazing pumpkin painting from my Friend Holly on some rusty metal & knew I had to add it for another look. Either way, I’m kind of obsessed with this mantel.
There are dreams of me someday having a big pretty garden & a pretty greenhouse, but until then I will use these natural inspired elements that you would find lying in a garden or scattered around in a greenhouse in my home decor as I dream. about fall & future dreams. It’s almost like my decor is an inspiration board for future dreams…
Something about fall makes me want to decorate all the things & try a bunch of new looks. Is it like that for everyone? I think this mantel look is here to stay for a little while. Something about all the cozy texture is making me obsessed with it. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. & as always THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for stopping by my little blog today.. it brings so much joy to be able to share tiny inspirations with you.. thanks for letting me do that. xx

May I ask, "Where may I buy the THANKFUL that is hanging above your doors?" #love #perfection
This is the first time I’ve ever had the pleasure or felt the need to comment on someone’s blog. I truly see God’s handiwork and creations in your design aesthetic and writings. May God provide you and Jose many wonderful blessings in life.
P. S. I had to tell my Mom tonight about your God thing at Magnolia and the prayer you received. Thanks so much for your and Jose’s inspiration. A new fan from Alabama sending prayers and best wishes for you and Jose.
Where did you get the white pumpkin print for over your fireplace?? Love!
I love it all? I’ve searched everywhere with no luck on finding any antique pots like on your mantel!! where would you suggest I find them?
Thank you!!
Lovely! You have certainly inspired me. As a result, I plan to dig my tiny terra-cotta pots out of storage (saving them for such a time as this) and give them a coat of white paint. Those, a few greens, and white pumpkins will most likely find their place on my mantle. Thank you!
