I can’t believe it took me this long to share these easy fun wreaths with you guys!!! Ok, I think the main reason is because I never got any great photos of the wreaths so I kept waiting & I kept forgetting, but I just had to share with you this simple DIY because I know fall is right around the corner & we are all going to want a wreath on our door. For all my DIY girls who want to save some money.. this one is for you! Well, one of them is super cheap at least…
Ok, so for both wreaths I picked up some simple $9 grapevine wreaths at Michaels. Super cheap & even cheaper with a coupon. Then I picked up one garland strand, some floral stems, a cute metal letter G, & some floral wire as well from Michaels.. that’s it to make two very different wreaths!
The first wreath I simply took a grapevine wreath & wrapped a strand of muted green garland around the grapevine wreath & it fit perfectly! I then attached the garland to the wreath with the floral wire. Done. that’s it. A simple greenery wreath that is actually my favorite of the two wreaths.
For the second wreath I took a bunch of floral stems & simply weaved the stem part through the grapevine wreath & secured them in simply by weaving them in there tightly. I opted to do the stems only on the bottom half of the wreath, but you could do them all around if you chose to do so. After I was happy with the stem placement I secured the metal letter on the wreath by using the floral wire.
That’s it! Two very simple wreaths made in minutes. There are so many ways you could switch these up with different garland styles, letters, & more. I’ll be back soon with some more wreath ideas, but wanted to share these simple ones with you guys as we transition into a new season with all new decor. You don’t have to break the bank for seasonal decor & you can even re-use the same grapevine wreaths every season. What do you guys think of them? Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram! Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today!!
I love your doggies!
Thanks for sharing your two simple wreaths. I like the colors and textures you chose. Yes, the wreath is simple, but it has a very calm feel to it. I might try something like it as we transition from summer to fall. White pumpkins could be added as a “wink-wink”–fall is coming!
I love anything that could be used year round!
Please tell me where you got the letter G in your wreath! It’s perfect!!!
