Ya’ll know I get kind of crazy in our “formal” dining room.. I mean I use the term “formal” loosely because I am the farthest thing from formal on this entire planet, but you know what a “formal” dining room really means… a dining room you rarely use unless company is over. You could look at it in a negative way and think “oh, great another big room to dust & keep clean.” but me? Oh no, it’s totally the best thing ever… a room to be creative in with no boundaries. Especially with seasonal decor…
This week I joined some of my blogging friends in doing a fall tablescape & since I’ve been obsessing over the rustic garden fall decor in our front living room [HERE] I figured I should give it a try in our dining room as well so I created a rustic garden fall centerpiece that was super fun to play around with. Some craft moss, terra-cotta pots, faux white pumpkins, & of course some greenery makes the perfect little fall garden inspired centerpiece. The best part about this centerpiece. It’s all on a piece of beadboard so you can lift it off the table super easy. & by easy I mean grab your husband to help you on the other end so that moss & pots don’t spill all over the floor… not that I’m speaking from experience. Just seems wise.
This centerpiece was super easy to make & was just a matter of laying moss down, layering the pots on top, & then layering some greenery & pumpkins. Super simple & you could make this on a smaller scale for tables that you use more often, but this would also work great on a sofa table, entryway table, buffet, & so many more places. I hope in some small way this tablescape inspires you & your fall decor in your home. Are you loving the garden inspired fall decor in our home this year? So pretty Liz!
Where are the little faux plants in the pots from? They are so beautiful. Thanks
Love this Liz! So smart to put it on top of the beadboard!! Makes a larger centerpiece much more practical. 🙂 So pretty how you layered the moss and pumpkins with those pots!
Wow! It’s just so gorgeous, love the pumpkins combined with the terra cotta and greenery. Thanks so much for sharing!
I love all of the pumpkins with the greenery! It is so pretty Liz!
I love this! The board is quite genius. I’ve been trying to find your chandeliers. Do you have a source?
