Hi guys!!! Thank you for coming to the blog today… it honestly means so much to me when you guys stop here daily to see what we have been up to. Today I wanted to share with you guys our simple fall farmhouse entryway. In the past I have gone all out in this area of our house, but this year I was feeling simplicity in this space because of the already busy gallery wall that we have in there permanently & just craving a clean area. Just adding some pumpkins & a couple of pillows it became the perfect simple fall entryway….
The church pew & that gallery wall are always staples in our entryway & I still love the space like this which is pretty good for me who changes everything around monthly it seems. For this space to bring it into fall I added a velvet pillow & some others from Pottery Barn [HERE affiliate link] to bring in some cozy textures. & of course a bunch of pumpkins that I had from last year from our shop. I placed a couple on the bench and the table, but I also stuck some in a mirror, yes a mirror, from Painted Fox that I doubled as a tray underneath the church pew. Kind of weird, but kind of cool. Those buckets on the floor? Those will also be a part of my line with Painted Fox [HERE] & can be styled in so many different ways.
Of course the dogs had to get in on the action per usual because what is our fall entryway without the pups involved? If you remember our fall entryway from last year [HERE] this space is looking a little different, but equally as cozy I would say. This is honestly one of my favorite parts of our house & I don’t share it enough. It just has a lot of our touches in it when other parts of our house are under construction & don’t really have our touches yet. I hope you guys like this little glimpse at our fall entryway…what do you think? Let me know what you think in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. Thank you guys again for stopping by the blog today. xx
Some more of our fall home this year…
Good morning, Liz Marie! What a warm and cozy way to welcome visitors into your home! I especially love your little greeters.
I just absolutely love the way you decorate for fall. so cozy + so many textures = perfect fall feeling.
Simple, cozy and beautifully Fall.
Good day to you,
I’m sure you’ve been asked this before, but is it by coincidence or purpose that your dogs match your house? Either way, your pictures always lift my spirits!
I want to leave a comment on your IKEA slip cover couch review. I have Pottery Barn slip cover sectional. After 1 year the cushions were super saggy and seat cushions smushed down. They replaced them but with the same bad quality cushions and now 2 years later they look HORRIBLE. I have seen tons of sofas on pintrest with the same problem and many DIY for restuffing. Just wondering why IKEA sofa is wearing better than pottery barn? Sounds like yours is well used too! I noticed you have very large size pillows in front of the back cushions. Do you use these to rest your back/arms on instead of the sofa cushions? Perhaps yours is not slouching because of this? However is there enough room to sit back in the sofa with such large pillows on it? I also know people that have C&B slipcover and theirs is also dented down from just a small dog sitting on top of the cushions. Sagging sofa is a common problem even in high end furniture. Do you know anyone else with such good luck with IKEA sofa?
Love that you went clean and simple that’s what I want to do when I switch to fall!! I’m totally craving some simplicity
I look be your warm and cozy home! Could you share where you purchased the neutral rug in your entryway?
Thanks!
Joan
Where do you store all of your items when you aren’t using them! The inventory you must have is incredible and I am COMPLETELY jealous!
