I keep forgetting to show you guys all the cute fall table decorations I put together with some dried hydrangeas that I picked up at our shop the other day. I have always loved love loved hydrangeas and they really kick my fall decorating ideas… Dried hydrangeas to me represent fall in the most beautiful neutral way. After a whole summer of being bright & beautiful they are even elegant as they fade away for the winter & I want to enjoy them even then. Here is a little fall table decor I put together around a basket of my dried hydrangeas…
You guys know me. I love the eclectic cottage vibes in everything that I do in our farmhouse. This tablescape is no different. I started with some chippy beadboard as a table runner. On top of the beadboard I placed a lovely basket that is from our shop along with the hydrangeas. I mixed in some of my stoneware collection, some lovely white pumpkins, & a few of my favorite little sheep. A perfect little neutral fall tablescape. I’m not the greatest at drying hydrangeas so I’m so thankful that my friend Robin who sells in our shop did it for me… next year we will try to dry some hydrangeas from our farm…
My favorite thing about every season? Putting together & playing around with different tablescapes… it’s kind of like a form of therapy & an escape from reality & it’s also so fun to share them with you guys & hopefully they bring some inspiration to you in some small [or big] way! Thank you guys so much for stopping by the blog today & for making blogging something that I truly love. Thank you!!! xx
I also love eclectic cottage vibes. I appreciate your work. I never make fall tables cape before but I’m so excited to make it, I also started making the fall table’s cape. After finishing my work, I will share my experience. Thanks
Liz this is gorgeous. Love love the unique basket and dried hydrangeas with white pumpkins. Crushing over it all.
