Finally!! An update in the entryway bathroom of our farmhouse! We kind of let this project stand still for a while, but because Better Homes & Gardens was coming we finally put some things up on the wall in the space & I couldn’t wait to share it with you guys because I’ve had this vision for a while….
Here is the gallery wall so far! The idea behind it? Well in my mind I wanted to create a bulletin board that you would have seen when you walked into a salon back in the day. You know, in the “olden” days. Almost like you would walk in the door & turn to look at a bulletin board to find houses for rent, hairstyle inspiration, & any upcoming events. You know, the days before pinterest or Facebook. That was the idea behind it all & I collected silhouettes and other antique times for this little wall over time. I’m thinking it needs something architectural up top there, but I’m on the hunt for that still. I started with this antique salvage shelf and hung all the pieces above that piece. Guess what I hung all the pieces with? You guessed it 3M strips like [THESE] [affiliate link]. It was so easy to hang it all & the thing I like best about using 3M strips is that if I want to readjust something on the wall there isn’t a hole & it’s super easy to edit. & trust me.. I’m always editing!
Ok, so there are a few more things we made progress on in this bathroom since I last showed it, but we will save that for another day. Today I wanted to focus on the gallery wall. What do you think of it? I may add a few things on the shelf like some shaving cream brushes and other things I collect over time, but I think it’s a great start! Let me know what you think in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram! Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by my blog today.. honestly it means so much to me & I’m thankful that you guys stop by daily to see what we are up to. xx
Hello. I love the sink. Do you have a link for where you purchased it. Thanks.
Love it!!! The brushes and one of those shave cream soap looking things these use would look so cute there! You are so creative!!!
Good job! I, too, am doing a B+W gallery in our bathroom. Your inspiration may be the reason I follow through + finish mine!
Love the feel of the bathroom! Did a great job.
Love it, Liz! This is the exact theme I would like to incorporate in our laundry room when we start that!
That is the most precious gallery wall I have ever seen!! I love it and pinned it for inspiration. I just love your style! 🙂
Love it!!
I love it and think it’s perfect the way it is! I also love the sink, is it a Koehler Brockway? It’s what I used in my kids bathroom, the slightly larger version, and I love it! I can’t wait to see your photos in BHG!
Hi–
Gorgeous bathroom! Do you remember where you got the basket? I’m looking for one just like it. So nice for towels, etc…
Thanks Liz!!
The sink!!!! I love it!! Where did you get it??
Very cute!
With your sink, where do you put your soap? It doesn’t look like there’s room for it…
