Farmhouse Style Ikea Slipcovers & A Giveaway

You guys!!! I’ve been so excited to share today’s blog post because it’s a chance for me to give you guys something & share a source that I feel will help a lot of you & that just makes me so so so so happy!! If you guys remember this past summer we got a new slipcover for our Ikea sectional [HERE] & I’m still obsessed. So when it came time to get some new chairs for our dining room recently I wanted to go the same route in this space. We had the Ikea Henriksdal chairs [HERE] in the past & we have loved them so a refresh on the chairs was what we chose & the main motivation was to cozy up the space. The metal chairs that we had in this space before from All Modern [affiliate link here] were great, but with this being such a large space slipcovers were more appealing. So, I went to my trusty website for slipcovers for all our Ikea furniture that we have, good old Bemz. I talked a whole lot about it [HERE] before, but basically Bemz has slipcovers for all Ikea furniture in thousands of colors & fabric options to pick from ranging from modern to farmhouse styles & everything in between. It’s basically all my dreams come true for all the Ikea pieces we have in our farmhouse. I recentlyfound this loose country fit slipcover for the Henriksdal chair [HERE] & immediately fell in love with the cozy cottage vibes & had to have them for our dining room. I think they fit our space quite nicely…

We ended up swapping out all 6 metal chairs & two vintage slipcovered chairs from around the table that we had before with 6 of the new Bemz slipcovered chairs & I love the simple cozy vibe it added to the space. The loose country fit is totally what my dreams are made of with all the texture, relaxed vibe, & coziness. I also love what impact the six simple chairs have around our antique table. I could go on, but you guys get it… I love that I can transform our average Ikea furniture into custom pieces for our home so easily. I looked forever for slipcovers for our furniture so that’s why I share it with you guys so that you don’t have to look forever as well.

    The chairs look lovely in the dining room. They were a great switch, and your other chairs would be great ones for your kitchen. I think the dining room took on an rustic elegant look with these new chairs/slipcovers. Without all the legs showing, the whole room looks less cluttered and more cohesive. A lovely choice.

    I love the covers you chose. If I had some ma money to spend, I’d get them in linen and gingham check. I have upholstered chairs with backs that are wider on top. These may work!
    Now, if only I could have a dining room lovely as yours.

    These are fabulous chairs and covers! I have the Ektorp 3 seat and would love the linen white rosendale relaxed cover. I think that is really the casual look I am going for and it looks so soft and comfy compared to the cotton duck cover I bought with my sofa. Oh boy would it be great to win!
