Hey guys!! With Thanksgiving now come and gone… I know, unreal. It’s now full-fledge, no questions asked, and certainly no grumpy comments of “too soon” time to take Christmas decorating all the way through the house. We love Christmas so much around the house, we want it to be the first thing we see when we wake up, and the last thing before we go to bed. Here is how we brought Christmas to the bedroom.
My pledge this season is –simple Christmas, of course that is how all my spaces start but you know how that eventually turns out; but I think we did pretty good this time…The pop of thick ivory knit created that perfect base of mix of winter color and Christmas texture. On our “antique door headboard” we hung some Christmas ornaments with some staples & fish line… it was really easy & we wanted it to be a little random & not so perfect. To round out the headboard; we hung three cedar wreaths above the bed centered on the windows on the doors. These wreath’s are from Birchlane (link here), were very easy to hang, they had a nice solid hook on the backside and some craft wire, had these up in a few minutes. I’m obsessed with using cedar in our Christmas decor because they are the perfect farmhouse greens. Just for a little more depth we added some mercury glass in the middle of the wreaths, tying in our design of the bedroom.
We closed in the space by adding a few key items on the nightstands like these little light up churches from Birch Lane & these Christmas trees that are also from Birch Lane. We threw some vintage clocks we had from our little collection & some vintage green books… always staples in our decor of course. I think my favorite element in this Christmas bedroom besides the wreaths on the doors is this quirky little Christmas tree on the nightstand.
I love this cozy rustic Christmas bedroom of ours & really love the Christmas on those rustic doors of ours. I’m thinking I should put some lights on those doors.. What do you think? I hope you guys liked this glimpse at our Christmas master bedroom! Be sure to check out some of my blogging friends Christmas bedrooms below for more inspiration!! Everything is beautiful
In the first grouping of your friends’ bedrooms (linked at the bottom of the post), I don’t see a link to the first picture. Would you mind sharing? It looks so sweet!
This is simply beautiful in every way. The wreaths, the knit throw, the trees…all of it. Cozy and calm. I would love to hear about details on your bedding. The shams, duvet, etc. I love your style.
Lovely
I love Christmas time and it is perfectly fine to decorate before Thanksgiving! Decorating early doesn’t mean you don’t enjoy, I actually think I enjoy Thanksgiving more when my house is decorated for “the holidays”! Your bedroom is beautiful.
The bedroom looks dreamy and cozy… like a place to snuggle on a Sunday afternoon gazing out the windows.✨❄️✨
You have an amazing gift! So inspiring. Merry Christmas.
