I can’t believe next week is Christmas & I failed to share our full cozy farmhouse Christmas decor tour with you guys… I didn’t even show you our front living room yet. Hopefully by the end of the week I will share more with you guys & today I wanted to share with you a little glimpse of our front entryway. That just with some simple greens & a few candles from Chesapeake Bay Candle we made this a cozy Christmas corner. You may be confused because you know our front entryway as the church pew area with the corbel shelf [HERE] & yes, you are right that is part of our front entryway, but there is another part of that entryway on the left side of the wall when you walk in….
This cute little antique table is a find from our shop a few weeks ago that I knew I HAD to have because this space needed a little table which can be hard to find. Above the table we made a coat rack out of an old architectural piece. We make these quite often by simply screwing some hooks onto the architectural pieces throughout our home. On the shelf/coat rack I have some of my antique clock collection, an old window, & a winter green wreath I picked up at Target.
On the table I used my favorite way to bring winter warmth into our home, candles. These candles on this table are from Chesepeake Bay Candle & oh my goodness they are a new favorite of mine. I’m kind of a candle snob, I mean I own a boutique here in Michigan & have smelled a thousand different candles before so I know which candles are good & I know which ones I love and don’t love. I love these. We are currently burning the Balsam Fir from the Heritage collection up here on the entryway table & the warm glow brings Christmas cheer to this corner just life that. My neighbor actually came over last night & as soon as she walked in she starting sniffing the air like crazy & asked me what I had burning… it was this Chesapeake Bay candle & now I have her hooked as well. I also love the style of this container they come in & they fit my decor really well which is always something I look for in a candle. Chesapeake Bay Candle is manufactured right here in The US which a cool fact that I had no idea about & also they are very focused on Wellness & Lifestyle with the power of scent & what it can do to someone’s mood. I’ve talked about it often with our miscarriages & infertility before, but my mood around the holidays can be pretty down & I truly believe in the power of creating a warm and cozy environment to boost your mood & these candles surely help that.
The rest of the table is simple with just a little basket and greens. I’m sure I will change this table up a lot in the course of time, but you best believe a candle will usually be burning here. I’ve said this a million times in my Instagram stories, but with my anxiety and depression around the holidays I do many things to keep our home cozy, calm, & relaxing, & lighting candles is a huge part of that along with music, lights, & other cheerful holiday items. What do you guys do to bring the warmth of the holidays in your home? From my Instagram stories the other day a lot of you said CANDLES so I know I’m not alone. I highly recommend these Chesapeake Bay Candles & the best part? You can find their amazing candles in many fabulous stores or online [HERE].Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today. I hope you enjoyed seeing our little entryway & also seeing my new favorite candle line. xx
*I worked with Chesapeake Bay Candle Company on this post, but as always all opinions, decor, & style are my very own.

I saw on your Insta home tour today that you took down the dining room crystal chandeliers! Just curious about what design considerations you had – what motivated your decision? And will you use them in another location in your beautiful home? Thanks Liz!
Your home is so beautiful and I get so many ideas from you! Where did you get your chippy shelf holding your old clocks? Thank you for sharing so much detail.
