Large Wall Tarp Art

Eeeek! So in our front living room this weekend we hung a little [big] piece of art & I couldn’t wait to show you. Honestly this isn’t it’s final resting place because I STRUGGLE with this large wall in our living room, but for now it’s here in a temporary happy setup & Winnie & I wanted to show you our new [very big] art piece in the front living room because we are a little in love with it. Ok ok… this was really just a Winnie photoshoot, haha I kid, but really she is cute…

Isn’t this fun?! It’s a large sail cloth with a quote from The Velveteen Rabbit [which I love.. you know me & rabbits]. It’s a distressed cloth which I love with very heavy grommets on the top. The tarp is stitched on the sides which brings a lot more character in it as well. The tarp is 46×57 so it’s a massive wall hanging & was the perfect solution to this large empty wall in our front living room area. These tarps would look amazing in any room of the home from a nursery, entryway, over a sofa, dining room… the list goes on! I asked High Cotton Vintage on Instagram to send me one even though she doesn’t have an online shop & she was so kind to do it, but I did find them online [HERE] for those of you who want to shop online for one. I found this bench while thrifting this weekend at a flea market & I love the pop of green it adds! Those pillows? The stripe one is from pottery barn [HERE] & that big white textured pillow is from Serena & Lily [HERE]. Those floor cushions are from good old Home Goods & are Winnie’s favorite dog bed now. The basket is from Target [HERE] & the branches are from Pier One [HERE]. All the sources are also below. I didn’t have a specific place to hang this tarp just yet in our home, so I created this little spot on this large empty wall, but like I said.. I’ll probably move it soon, but don’t worry I will keep you updated on that. This is just a happy little tiny spot in the house so why not start out the week by sharing it with you guys.
