Lately, well for as long as I can remember, I have been so inspired by cottage greenhouses. Maybe it started when I was five when my love for Peter Rabbit was blossoming & the life in Mr. McGreggors Garden just seemed like where I wanted to be. Well, We are slowly but surely bringing my cottage greenhouse dreams come to life in this white cottage farmhouse of ours. Today I wanted to show you a tiny vignette with Terra-Cotta pots we have in our dining room that’s filled with some terra-cotta pots that I’ve collected over time from antique shops & flea markets…
My love for vintage terra-cotta pots run deep. The texture, the vibe, the warmth. All of it. A terra-cotta pot that has been used over time can tell such a story in a vignette. The earth that is stuck to the sides & all of the history that shows through all of the ware & tare all over them, it all makes my heart skip a beat so naturally I started collecting them. Right now I have a little display of them on this giant hutch in our dining room & I’m loving the greenhouse vibe it has really brought to this space. I simply stacked them across the hutch & mixed in some faux little leaves in there. I also grouped in a lovely rabbit from Pottery Barn, a vintage glass jug with some branches, & two faux topiaries because this space doesn’t get that much sunlight. Just a simple little vignette that is all in front of an antique lead glass window that I love.
If you are looking for antiqued terra-cotta pots I highly suggest scouring your local thrift shops, antique stores, flea markets, and so much more… you are more than likely to stumble on a pile of them. I hope that this post inspired you in some small way & gave you an idea on how you can use terra-cotta pots in your home. I use them many many many other ways around our case so I will be sure to share those with you as well. I will also be updating you on this cabinet makeover very very soon… it’s not quite finished, but once it is I will share all the details with you. THANK YOU for stopping by the blog today & for stopping here daily to see what we are up to.. it means the world to me! Thank you for being here. xx

On the wooden table, you have a cloche with looks like metal bases. Where did you get these? Also, the dog pillow, that is creme colored with a little blue trim. Where might I purchase that too? Thank you
Absolutely gorgeous! I’m always amazed how someone, ( who I don’t even know ), can create a space that suits my style to a ‘t’! It’s like you’re inside my head! If you ever decided to sell your farm, I would buy it, move from Canada and not change a thing! In reality I’m pretty sure you would never sell it and I would never move from Canada but that’s how much I love your Home! ?
Love! Love! Love! When I think of spring and cottage – this is what I think of!
