You guys. Have you ever cried when you walked into a room because of how much you loved it? I have. I did it this weekend & I’m still in shock from it all. You see, there is this room in our upstairs here in the farmhouse. We call it the “guest room”, but what it really is is the future nursery. That brings out so many emotions from sadness to hopefulness to joy to anger. So many emotions, but mostly excitement. Excitement because what we are doing now is preparing this beautiful room for a future child & that brings so much hope to our little farmhouse…
A few months ago my friend Abby sent me the link to this GORGEOUS wallpaper of my dreams. I had to have it right away for our future babies room so I ordered it right then and there & we made the decision to re-do the upstairs “guest bedroom”. It was a little more than I really wanted to pay for wallpaper, but to be honest I wanted it so badly that I paid the price & I have no regrets. When I say that it reminds me of that movie, We Are The Millers, where that kid has the tattoo that says “no ragrets” & Jason Sudeikis says “Not even on letter?” haha great part & if you were to ask me, “not even one penny?” I would say NOPE! It honestly tuned out better than I could have ever imagined or planned. I’M OBSESSED with this room & I kind of want to move in. We hired someone amazing to hang the wallpaper because I’ve never wallpapered before & I wasn’t about to start with this beautiful paper or this big of a project… I’m so thankful we did because he did an amazing job.. I can’t even find the seams!
The wallpaper is called “The Allotment” & it has rows of vegetables, he hives, potting sheds, greenhouses, hens and wheelbarrows & it’s just one big happy farm scene. It’s my dream farm… so you could say this wallpaper is my little “mood board” for our farm. My favorite part is the bee hives! The whole thing is just so charming & includes everything I love. We could rename this paper “White Cottage Farm” & it would be super fitting. It comes in other colors, but I ordered it in the color linen & I love how soft it is in this space & how well it goes with those painted floors of ours.
With the painted floors and the wallpaper on the walls I find myself sitting in this room dreaming of when there is a baby in here now that it’s getting prettier & it fills me with anticipation for that wonderful day. For now this room will be a guest bedroom and soon we will be loading it up with the furniture & decor, but it’s fun to sit in this empty room and dream for now. Honestly the wallpaper is so pretty & I love it so much that we could leave the room like this for a while & I wouldn’t be mad. I would sit in here with it empty and stare at it… sorry guys, I’m in love. What do you think of it? Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today & everyday to see what we are up to… it means the world to me!! xx
It’s beautiful! I will probably never do wallpaper, after removing eleventybillion layers of it in the hundred-year-old house we are remodeling, but I do love to admire it in other peoples’ homes.
Wonderful wallpaper anyway, but perfect for your farm.

It’s adorable. It’s perfect for your farm. I’ve been thinking about wallpaper again after a 20 year break from it. It took three days to remove it from our kitchen. I vowed never the have it again but “Never say never.” I’m excited to see how you decorate this space.
Love it!
It’s Perfect! And I hope your dreaming of it being a baby’s room comes true sooner than you think.
It is the perfect paper for White Cottage Farm. I pray that there will be a little one to enjoy this room and all of your beautiful farm.
Simply stunning!
Love it! Serene yet stunning at the same time. Whoever stays in this room is one lucky person. Praying your wish for a baby will be fulfilled.
I love this so much! You are such an inspiration! Oh, and that it one of my favorite lines of all times…”Not even one letter?”…My husband and I just insert “no ragrets” randomly into our conversations from time to time. We speak in movie lines and Friends quotes. Lol. But seriously, speaking as a woman who dealt with infertility for 8 years before adopting our precious (now 11yr old) boy, I am so inspired by you putting your story out there to let other women know they are not alone! I wish I had your sweet honesty to draw comfort from, when I was in the midst of my own heartache. God has BIG plans for you and Jose! Keep the faith Liz! Can’t wait to see how you decorate the room for now!
I just love this! The hives are perfect! It’s a perfect space for a nursery. With how much you adore your fur babies I can only imagine all the cuteness when your little one comes along. Praying for you both ??

Your wall paper sure is different and pretty.
I just read your post about anxiety and depression. Which I suffered with for 30 years before I started taking Lexapro which helped me. Took that for 5 years. Swithched to Wellbutrin. Because Lexapro caused me to gain weight. Most anxiety antidepressant meds will cause weight gain.
I am a Registered Nurse who worked with psych patients and I loved it.
Blessings and Best Wishes to you.
I love this so much! It really speaks your style. I also love that you have the power of visualization. What you imagine is what you live. I am so hopeful that this room is filled with a small one soon. It will be the luckiest child ever! Pretty!!!
I love this. I feel like you have planted a seed of faith choosing this wallpaper and envisioning it as a nursery. Can’t wait to see the finished room. And, of course I always love seeing the adorable Winnie.
It’s so beautiful and peaceful Liz. Sending a prayer, Lord, we just lift up Liz and Jose to you today. We have faith and hope Lord that you are going to bless them beyond measure with a healthy pregnancy and baby. Lord they have been through so much in their fertility journey and we believe that the time for blessing is now., Lord, they have prayed, so many others have prayed and you tell us in your word where two or three gather in my name and are in agreement Your will, will be done. Lord, we are all in agreement. Please rain down your blessings on Liz and Jose. In your heavenly name we pray, Amen. ?
Oh man! I’m dead! When I saw this in your IG stories my jaw dropped and I held the screen so I could take it in! I can’t even imagine how much better it is in real life! So here’s the real question, what room should I wallpaper?! Lol! But for real!
Its absolutely beautiful!!!!! The entire room is so charming. Can’t wait to see it with furniture!!!
The wallpaper is PERFECT! That is all. Perfect, I tell you.
Wow! Liz, it beautiful and perfect fit for your beautiful farmhouse! It is like it was custome made for you. I can’t wait to see what you do with this room once it’s decorated! You are so talented and inspiring to so many. Thank you for sharing your home and heart with us. ❤️
It’s precious, and you’re going to be the most wonderful parents, when that very special day comes.
When I first saw the wallpaper I thought you’d had someone illustrate your farm! It matches so perfectly!
Lovely prayer – Amen! ❤
I love the room and your post. When we moved into our current home almost 2 years ago, there was a Winnie the Pooh mural on a wall in one room that I kept saying, this will be our nursery. After our miscarriage and long fertility journey through IVF, there were so many times I wanted to just take a hammer to that mural because I was hopeless. But I kept working on the room, buying a rug, moving in furniture I saw and liked, and buying clothes. I felt so stupid, and I kept the door shut and the room closed up. I love your mentality and your post because it’s exactly how I felt: hopeful. Thank you for this. I know that your family is not yet complete.
I’m so in love with this wallpaper ~ but I swore I’d never wallpaper again. We can admire yours from a far ?
I feel so strongly that this room is the first step to the desire of your heart. It’s like this room holds all the “possibles” within the little “farm on the wall”
I can hear “goodnight vegetables, goodnight bee hives, goodnight potting sheds, goodnight greenhouses, goodnight hens and goodnight wheelbarrows.
Prayers.
