The garden has had a few little upgrades lately from a chicken coop to some growing plants to a few other little additions. One day this garden will be what we envisioned, but for now it’s our happy place that is forever in progress. One little bit of progress we got a few weeks ago that I keep forgetting to show you is a little mini greenhouse! I have plans to plant around it & make it prettier, but I couldn’t wait any longer to show you this mini little cutie…
This part of the garden is a little messy, but Isn’t she lovely? I picked her up on sale from Wayfair [HERE]. My main purpose for getting this little garden shed was to store some garden items in it and out of the weather. My second purpose which may seem odd is to actually use it as a greenhouse this winter for my plants. More on that later, but for now I just wanted to show you the beginning of this little greenhouse/garden shed & just how adorable she is. The shed comes un-painted & ready for assembly which Jose did really quickly with very little help. After it was assembled he painted it with Behr “white dove” outdoor paint. We have considered different roofing options, but for now there is this pvc roofing that it came with that does the trick! The greenhouse is just a little taller than me & not very wide, but it’s kind of perfect for our garden & I know it will serve us well in years to come. Plus… I can see our kids loving this someday & I can’t wait for that!
I’ve brought a few goodies out to the little greenhouse & hung that little “vegetable plant” sign on the front of the greenhouse, but you know I will be making it prettier soon! I hope to plant more around it this weekend & make it prettier so I will be back with those updates asap!
