We had the absolute honor this past weekend to host someone so gifted and am amazing friend at our shop & I had to come on her and share about it today with you guys because I’m still on a high from it. I don’t always talk about our shop on here & maybe I should more often. If you didn’t know I own The Found Cottage in Hudsonville, MI with two other amazing ladies & it has truly been a dream come true these past few years. It’s hard work, but so rewarding & something I’ve always wanted to do. We have about 20 vendors in our shop & we style everyones items together & it creates this beautiful display of so many creatives items.. I feel blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing men & women in our area & don’t even get me started on our employees because they are a dream come true as well. Anyways, this past weekend we had Kerri from The Cotton Shed host a pop-up market in our warehouse as a special treat for our local area since she lives six hours away & is one of the most talented woman I have ever met. I was so excited for people in our area to be able to see her talents as well….
Kerri set up shop in our warehouse & she transformed our ugly old warehouse into a beautiful little shop for two days… it was astounding how big the change was with her magic touch. Kerri is such a unique person in the fact that everything she sells is a unique antique and not anything that is new… that’s a rare gem! She also knows the stories behind all of her pieces & has so much knowledge about antiques… I learned so much from her this weekend while I shopped her pop-up shop of course. I will be sharing my finds from her pop-up later, but for now I wanted to show you her setup at our store to show you her talents & also to hopefully inspire you in some way…
I can’t say it enough, but I truly am so thankful to be surrounded by such creative, strong, talented, & uplifting women & Kerri is one of them. I hope you felt her talent through this post & feel inspired by her in some way. Be sure to show her some love!! What was your favorite piece I shared?! I’ll be back soon with my haul from her! xx
Hard to differentiate what’s yours and whats’ your guest’s. You must have been twins in another life. Does she have an online shop?
This is by no means trying to be rude, but you never answer questions here. I check weekly, and so many really good questions go un-answered. Again, I enjoy your style, and have been inspired and encouraged to try new ways to decorate.
wow what wonderful things she has and her staging is also great wonder what her home looks like.
I love the item in the second picture – the “thing” on the wall. Is it still available?

That church pew!!! Exactly what Im looking for, for my entryway. Beautiful vignettes and staging. Too bad I’m in CA!
It doesn’t look like it. But if you go to her Instagram, you can find a list of cities where her popup shops will be located and more info on her;)
