Being a blogger, its no secret I am constantly on social media. While I do miss the “old days” of disconnection from the world, I am so thankful for social media for so many reasons, like finding & meeting all of you that frequent the blog on a regular basis. So many blessing have come through social media & my blog, we cannot be more thankful for it. On top of meeting you all out there, we too get to discover people and follow along with their story. We recently shot down to Ohio for a day trip to the Country Living Fair, you can read all about it her [link]. While we were there, we stopped in some great booths, most of people we have followed through Instagram. It is so exciting, physically meeting these people, and talking with them to connect their social media personality with their real life personality. One person who I have adored for so long & finally got to meet in person last year was Alyssa from Cotton Wood Shanty. She is a gem & I adore following her on Instagram with all her realness, home decor, creative adventures, & even her little squirrel friend Doug… yes, a squirrel. She is wonderful!
When I was in her booth recently at the Country Living Fair I picked out a scroll for our fall decor & picked out this pumpkin patch scroll she made… I am obsessed with all the neutral fall feels & how it gives that rustic vibe with the craft paper. It’s fall decor without being well, fall decor. If that makes sense. I paired the scroll with some rustic little candle holders made our of architectural salvage & some eucluyptus of course. One pumpkin to top it off because well, fall. Oh, & did you think I wouldn’t amp up the cozy… I did, with an antique military blanket that I also picked up at the Country Living Fair. When I got home to my surprise it says USMC in the middle of it. How cool is that?
This little vignette is in our entryway of the farmhouse & I of course will show you much more of this area very soon. I hope this little fall vignette inspires you in some way this fall for your decor & I’m so glad you stopped by the blog today… THANK YOU for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to! See more of our fall decor below… xx
